GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - GENFARM PANZER 450 HERBICIDE

PRODUCT INFORMATION:

  • Non-selective herbicide effective against most emerged weeds and plants.
  • No residual weed control; can be used before sowing any crop, excluding transplanting tomato seedlings.
  • Absorbed by foliage and green stems, moving into the root system.
  • Treat actively growing weeds; avoid treatment under poor conditions.

CROP ESTABLISHMENT:

  • Recommended for emerged weed control before crop establishment.
  • Suitable cultivation/sowing operations required for optimal seedbed preparation.
  • Spray early when weeds are young; delay sowing if weed density is high.
  • Be cautious with seedbed conditions; avoid pre-emergent herbicides if labels suggest delayed crop emergence.

MIXING:

  • Mixes readily with water; avoid water containing soil or hard water with calcium salts.
  • Do not mix, store, or apply in galvanized steel or unlined steel containers; use plastic, fiberglass, rubber, aluminum, brass, copper, or stainless steel.
  • Thoroughly clean spray equipment before use.
  1. Ensure the spray tank is residue-free.
  2. Half-fill the tank with clean water; avoid turbid or hard water.
  3. Add required herbicide and mix.
  4. Add other tank mix partners if needed (follow label directions).
  5. Add remaining water; use a non-ionic wetting agent if required.
  6. Use the mix promptly; apply within 5 days.

SURFACTANT ADDITION:

  • Always add a non-ionic surfactant.
  • In fallow spraying, add Surfact 700 at 250mL/100L plus Ammonium Sulphate 417 at 2L/100L.

SPOT SPRAYING (HANDGUN/KNAPSACK):

  • Use non-ionic wetting agent (e.g., Non Ionic Wetting Agents 1000 or 600) as needed.

BOOM SPRAYING:

  • Use recommended rates in 25-200L clean water per hectare.
  • Preferred spray volumes: 25-100L/ha with MEDIUM or COARSE nozzles.
  • Set boom height for double overlap of nozzle patterns at the weed canopy top.

HIGH VOLUME APPLICATION:

  • Dilution rate: 8mL GENFARM PANZER 450 HERBICIDE per liter of water.
  • Adjust equipment for even spray pattern; apply for complete foliage wetting.

LOW VOLUME APPLICATION:

  • Apply as an even spray to cover all foliage.
  • Refer to Weeds Controlled for specified dilution and volume.

WIPER EQUIPMENT:

  • Use ropewick, canvas, felt, or carpet applicators.
  • Operate at least 10cm above the crop; travel speed no greater than 8km/h.
  • Repeat treatment if needed; flush equipment with water after use.

RATE FOR WIPER EQUIPMENT:

  • Mix 1L GENFARM PANZER 450 HERBICIDE with 2.5L clean water for a 29% solution.

Note: Follow all specified rates, precautions, and recommendations. Thoroughly flush equipment with clean water after use to prevent corrosion.
