PRODUCT INFORMATION - GENFARM PANZER 540 K HERBICIDE

Mode of Action: Genfarm Panzer 540 K is a non-volatile, non-selective, water-soluble liquid herbicide designed for controlling annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds in various agricultural and non-agricultural settings. The herbicide is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems, with inactivation occurring in the soil, providing no residual weed control. Visible effects on annual weeds can be observed in 3-7 days, although delays may occur under certain conditions.

CROP ESTABLISHMENT: Recommended for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment. Suitable conditions for crop emergence are necessary post-application. Delay planting in the presence of heavy weed growth or unsuitable soil conditions. Grazing and cultivation can assist in reducing vegetation and aiding weed decay.

MIXING: Genfarm Panzer 540 K mixes readily with water. Care should be taken not to mix, store, or apply the herbicide in galvanized steel or unlined steel containers or spray tanks. Stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, plastic, or plastic-lined containers are suitable. Thoroughly rinse equipment after use.

Mixing Instructions:

  1. Fill the spray tank 1/3 to ½ full with clean water and start agitation.
  2. Add recommended herbicide/insecticide/additive and mix.
  3. Add Genfarm Panzer 540 K and remaining water, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Add surfactant, if required, near the end of the filling process to minimize foaming.
  5. Maintain adequate agitation during application; use the tank mix promptly.

TANK MIXTURES: Compatible with various herbicides, insecticides, and adjuvants. Follow label directions, restraints, plantback, and withholding periods. A minimum water volume of 50L/ha is recommended in multiple product tank mixes; seek local advice.

Tank Mixtures – Herbicides: Compatible with 2,4-D ester, atrazine, carfentrazone, dicamba, imazapic, etc. Addition of oxyfluorfen at 75mL/ha improves knockdown for certain weeds.

Tank Mixtures – Insecticides: Compatible with imidan, omethoate 300, chlorpyrifos 500, Karate, bifenthrin, etc.

Adjuvants:

  • Wetter TX for silver grass and annual ryegrass in late Winter and Spring. Rate: 200mL/100L spray solution.
  • Pulse Penetrant for Bracken and woody weeds. Rate: 200mL/100L spray solution.
  • Spraymate Liase (Ammonium Sulphate) for alleviating adverse effects of ions. Add at 2L/100L spray solution.

APPLICATION:

Boom Equipment: Spray volume of 80L/ha or less for optimum performance. Nozzles and pressure settings for MEDIUM or MEDIUM-COARSE droplet size. Avoid VERY FINE or FINE droplets to prevent loss or drift.

Wiper Equipment: Use wiper equipment a minimum of 10cm above the crop; apply at speeds below 8km/h. Mix 700mL Genfarm Panzer 540 K with 2.3 liters clean water; adjust flow rate.

Aerial Equipment: Apply with boom or Micronair equipment; spray volume not less than 20L/ha. Settings for MEDIUM-COARSE droplet size; consider wind conditions. Wash aircraft thoroughly after each day of spraying.

Application on Hilly Terrain: Increase water volume to 30-80L/ha; increase droplet diameter to COARSE.

Temperature and Humidity: Avoid application above 30°C by aircraft. Increase water volume above 25°C; avoid application below 35% humidity.

APPLICATION CHECKLIST: Avoid treating under poor growing conditions. Do not add unauthorized substances. Rain within 1 hour of application may require re-treatment. No grazing withholding period, but delay to ensure herbicide uptake. Apply to weeds with sufficient leaf surface. For heavy grazing, allow regrowth before spraying.

RESISTANCE WEED WARNING: Group M Herbicide with EPSP Synthase inhibition. Weed resistance management is crucial. No liability for losses due to failure in controlling resistant weeds.
