GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Before starting any work, thoroughly read all safety directions.

MIXING

Add the required product quantity to water in the spray tank and agitate for even mixing. If left standing, agitate again.

WETTING AGENT

This product contains a wetting agent, and additional wetter is not needed unless high-volume spraying results in excessive dilution. Add wetter at a rate of 60 mL of Wetter 1000 per 100L of spray mix if rates fall below 400 mL per 100 L of spray. In orchard or vineyard situations with Fat Hen or Portulaca, extra wetter is recommended when the product ratio is less than 800 mL per 100L, with double the above recommendations. Do not use alkaline or anionic wetting agents.

CLEAN WATER

Mix this product only with clean water. The water should be free from clay, silt, and algae. Saline water, water from roofs, bore water, dam water, and creek water can be used if meeting cleanliness requirements.

APPLICATION

(i) Cereals and Broadacre Spraying:

  • Use a calibrated boom spray with flat fan jets.
  • Adjust the height for double overlap of spray at the top of the weeds.
  • Maintain spraying pressures between 200-300 kPa.
  • Speed of travel: 6-15 km/hr.
  • Adjust spray volumes according to weed density.

(ii) High Volume Application:

  • Higher volumes are required for good coverage in situations other than cereals and broadacre crops.

(iii) Equipment Cleaning:

  • Wash spray equipment with clean water immediately after use.
  • Do not leave the formulation in tanks or equipment made of galvanized iron or aluminum for extended periods.

COMPATIBILITY

This product combines well with various soil-active herbicides and is compatible with several other products.

SPRAYING CONDITIONS

Avoid spraying stressed plants (due to waterlogging, frost, drought, etc.) or those covered with dust and soil. Better results are achieved in dull weather or at the end of the day. Light rain following spraying will not affect results. Avoid drift into neighboring crops.

WEED RESISTANCE WARNING

This product is a Group L herbicide. Some naturally-occurring weed biotypes resistant to this and other Group L herbicides may exist. Repeated use can lead to resistant weeds dominating the population.

PROTECTION AND STORAGE

  • Do not apply under conditions causing spray drift onto susceptible plants, crops, or pastures.
  • Avoid application on or near water used for irrigation.
  • Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated locked room, away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed, and fertilizers.
  • Triple or pressure rinse containers before disposal.
  • Dispose of rinsings in the spray tank.
  • Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
  • Follow appropriate disposal procedures for recycling or waste management facilities.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS

  • Very dangerous, especially in concentrate form.
  • Poisonous if swallowed.
  • Will irritate the nose, throat, and skin.
  • Protect the eyes while using; wear elbow-length PVC gloves and face shield or goggles during preparation.
  • Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.
  • In case of skin contact, wash the area with soap and water immediately.
  • If clothing is contaminated, remove it immediately.
  • If product comes in contact with eyes, wash it out immediately with water.
