General Instructions

• Achieve optimal results by applying the product to cool, wet soil.

Mixing

• Shake the container vigorously before pouring. Add the required quantity of PRECARE 500 SC HERBICIDE to water in the spray vat while stirring or with agitators in motion. Do not mix with other pesticides.

Resistance Warning

• PRECARE 500 SC HERBICIDE belongs to the benzamide group of herbicides and has inhibitors of microtubule assembly mode of action. It is classified as a Group 3 herbicide for weed resistance management. Resistant weed biotypes may exist and could dominate the weed population if this herbicide is used repeatedly.

Precautions

• Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment: Avoid contaminating streams, rivers, or watercourses with the chemical or used containers.

• Protection of Livestock: Do not graze sheep on treated areas or feed to poultry or pigs.

• Protection of Crops, Native, and Other Non-target Plants: Avoid application under weather conditions or from spraying equipment that may cause spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants, crops, cropping land, or pastures.

Storage and Disposal

• Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. Keep away from contact with fertilisers, insecticides, fungicides, and seeds. Triple rinse containers before disposal, and do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Follow local waste management regulations for proper disposal.

Safety Directions

• May irritate the eyes. Avoid eye contact. Wear cotton overalls over normal clothing, buttoned to the neck and wrist, along with a washable hat and elbow-length chemical-resistant gloves when opening the container, preparing the spray, and using the prepared spray. Wash hands after use, and wash gloves and contaminated clothing after each day's use.
