GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
FUNGICIDAL RESISTANCE WARNING
- Eureka! Propiconazole 550 EC Fungicide belongs to the DMI group of fungicides (Group 3 Fungicide).
- Fungicide resistance management is essential. Resistant fungi may exist due to genetic variability, leading to dominance if fungicides are overused.
- Eureka! AgResearch (Vic) Pty Ltd is not liable for losses resulting from the failure to control resistant fungi.
MIXING:
- Add the required amount directly to the spray tank and mix thoroughly.
PINEAPPLES - Preplant Dip:
- Add the required amount directly to the dip, avoiding excessive contamination with organic matter.
APPLICATION:
Cereals:
- May be applied by boom spray or aircraft.
- Ensure complete coverage of all leaves and stems to keep the upper 2 to 3 leaves green during grain filling.
- Apply 10 to 20L/ha by aircraft, with the lower rate in crosswinds of at least 5 knots and higher rates for dense crops.
Apricots, Plums, and other Stone Fruit:
- Apply by high volume (dilute) or concentrate sprayer.
- Dilute Spraying: Apply water to the point of run-off; avoid excessive run-off.
- Concentrate Spraying: Adjust mixing rate based on the dilute spray volume and concentrate spray volume.
Compatibility:
- Compatible with many orchard sprays, including Ridomil Plus, some formulations of azinphos-methyl, demeton-s-methyl, diazinon, methomyl liquid, propargite, parathion, dimethoate, copper oxychloride, mancozeb, zineb, and chlorothalonil.
- Mixtures with more than one of the above are not recommended.
PRECAUTION Re-entry Period:
- DO NOT enter treated areas until the spray has dried.
PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:
- Dangerous to fish. DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways.
PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK:
- DO NOT graze treated turf or feed grass clippings from the treated area to poultry or livestock.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
- Store in a closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
- DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.
- Triple rinse containers before disposal; add rinsings to the spray tank.
- Dispose of undiluted chemical off-site.
- For pineapples, dispose of the spent dip in approved landfill or bury it under at least 500mm of soil in a non-crop, non-pasture area away from water sources or homes.
- If recycling, return clean containers to the recycler or designated collection point.
- If not recycling, bury empty containers in a landfill or a disposal pit marked and set up for this purpose.
- DO NOT burn empty containers or the product.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS:
- Harmful if swallowed. Will damage eyes and irritate the nose, throat, and skin.
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and inhalation of vapors.
- Wear appropriate protective clothing, including cotton overalls, gloves, goggles, and a disposable fume mask.
- Wash hands and contaminated clothing after use.
- If product contacts eyes or skin, wash immediately with water.
- After each day's use, wash gloves, goggles, and contaminated clothing.
