GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Cropro Pounce Insecticide:

  • It is a contact and residual synthetic pyrethroid insecticide.
  • Thorough spray coverage is crucial for adequate control.
  • Can be used as a protective treatment at regular intervals or as a knockdown treatment for existing larvae.

MIXING:

  • Add the required quantity to water in the spray tank and mix thoroughly.
  • Maintain agitation during mixing and application.
  • Readily mixes with hard or soft water.

APPLICATION:

  • Can be applied by low volume boom spray, in high volume, or by aircraft.
  • Use fine droplet size category, preferably with hollow cones nozzles.
  • Apply during cooler parts of the day or evening if possible.
  • If applied by aircraft, spray in a crosswind. Avoid spraying in calm conditions or when the wind is light and variable.

Resistance Warning:

  • Group 3A Insecticide.
  • Some insect biotypes resistant to Group 3A insecticides, including Cropro Pounce, may exist due to genetic variability.
  • Resistant individuals can dominate the population with repeated use, reducing the product's effectiveness.
  • PCT Holdings Pty Ltd disclaims liability for losses due to failure in controlling resistant insects.
  • Specific resistance management strategies may apply.

Precautions:

  • Protection of Crops and Non-Target Plants:

    • Avoid application under weather conditions causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops or pastures.
  • Protection of Livestock:

    • Dangerous to bees. Avoid spraying flowering plants while bees are foraging.
  • Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

    • Harmful to fish. Do not contaminate water bodies with the chemical or used containers.
    • Do not discharge waste liquid into watercourses. Never repack from this container.
  • Spillages:

    • Absorb liquid spillages onto pumice or vermiculite, not sawdust, and dispose of safely.
    • Wash contaminated areas with cold water. Operators should wear overalls, rubber boots, face shield, or goggles during decontamination.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Store in a closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
  • Triple rinse containers before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
  • For recycling, replace the cap and return clean containers to a recycler or designated collection point.
  • For non-recycling, deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility.
  • If no facility is available, bury empty packaging according to regulations. Do not burn empty containers or product.

Safety Directions:

  • Product is harmful if swallowed. Will irritate eyes, nose, throat, and skin.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale spray mist.
  • When opening the container and preparing spray, wear protective clothing and wash hands after use.
  • After each day's use, wash gloves, face shield or goggles, and contaminated clothing.
