GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Resistant Weeds Warning:

• Sabakem™ RECKON-M 275EC Selective Herbicide belongs to the phenoxy and nicotinanilide groups of herbicides. It inhibits carotenoid biosynthesis and disrupts plant cell growth. It's essential to manage weed resistance as resistant weed biotypes may exist, not controlled by this herbicide or other Group F and Group I herbicides.

Tolerance:

• Some pre-emergence herbicides like atrazine can cause stress to certain crops, resulting in increased crop damage. Sub-dover is particularly sensitive.

• Cereals: Transient crop yellowing may occur after application, usually appearing as yellow or white banding on leaves. Crop development and subsequent growth will be unaffected under normal conditions.

• Pasture: Tolerance of clover varieties to Sabakem™ RECKON-M varies with factors like application rate, soil type, crop health, stage of growth, moisture, and temperature stress.

Warning:

• Sabakem™ RECKON-M may cause transient crop yellowing and growth suppression, particularly at rates exceeding 500 mL/ha and in areas of double spray. Application is recommended before the 8th trifoliate leaf stage. Subsequent growth and seed yield should not be affected at lower rates (500 mL/ha or less) and under normal growing conditions.

Varieties with Tolerance:

• Various clover and subterranean clover varieties have shown acceptable levels of foliage tolerance to Sabakem™ RECKON-M at 500 mL/ha. However, certain varieties like Rose and Strawberry clover have shown increased sensitivity.

Subsequent Crops:

• Thoroughly cultivate the soil before sowing susceptible crops like canola to reduce the herbicide's effect.

Mixing:

• Half-fill the spray tank with clean water, add the required amount of product, agitate thoroughly, then add the remainder of the water. Reseal partially used containers immediately after use. Do not leave spray mixtures containing Sabakem™ RECKON-M to stand overnight.

Warning about Sprayer Components:

• Some spraying units' rubber components may be affected by exposure to the solvents in Sabakem™ RECKON-M. It's recommended to wash the spray unit thoroughly after use and consult the manufacturer for compatibility with agricultural products.

Application:

• Boom Sprayer: Use a minimum of 50 L water per hectare, with recommended rates of 70-100 L/ha for optimal results. Increase water volume for heavy weed infestation or dense crop cover. Complete coverage of weeds is essential.

• Aircraft (NSW, Vic, SA only): Apply in a minimum of 30 L water per hectare to achieve effective control by ensuring good coverage of leaf surfaces.
