GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

MIXING:

• Restrain 200 can be mixed with water or diesel.
• Mix only sufficient chemical for daily use; avoid storage.
• When mixing in water, fill the tank halfway, add Restrain 200, agitate continuously, and complete filling.
• When mixing in diesel, fill the tank halfway with diesel, add Restrain 200, complete filling, and agitate.

TANK MIXTURES:

• Add wettable powder or dry flowable formulations first, followed by suspension concentrates, water-soluble salts, and emulsifiable concentrate formulations.
• Add oils and surfactants last.

OILS AND SURFACTANTS:

• Use Uptake Spraying Oil at 500 mL/100 L of spray mix or 250 mL/ha when using less than 100 L/ha.
• Use non-ionic surfactant BS1000® at 100 mL/100 L where required.

COMPATIBILITY:

• Restrain 200 is compatible with listed herbicides; follow label directions and restrictions.
• Atrazine, Glyphosate 360, Metsulfuron methyl, Broadstrike, Eclipse, Diclofop methyl, Tricopyr, Lontrel, MCPA, Puma, Tordon, Touchdown are compatible.

ATRAZINE:

• Avoid hard water; use CALGON water conditioning agent if necessary.
• Vigorous agitation is crucial for Restrain and atrazine tank mixes; do not allow to stand without agitation.

TOPIK 240 EC:

• Use Uptake Spraying Oil with Restrain 200 + Topik 240 EC tank-mixes at 500 mL/100 L.
• Do not mix if grass weeds are not actively growing; use the maximum label rate for appropriate grass growth stage.

GLYPHOSATE 450:

• When mixing with Glyphosate 450, follow Glyphosate 450 label for use rates and recommended adjuvants.
• Do not use Glyphosate 450 at less than 1.2 L/ha in tank mixes with Restrain 200 for specific grasses.

APPLICATION METHODS and WATER RATES:

BROADCAST APPLICATION IN CROPPING, PASTURE AND FALLOW:

• Ground application with boom sprayer (flat nozzles) or ground-directed application with dropper nozzles.
• Aerial application with a minimum volume of at least 35 L/ha water.

WOODY WEED SITUATIONS:

• Weeds must be actively growing for optimal effect.
• Apply with a high volume or low volume, high concentrate application.
• Basal bark and cut stump applications are suitable.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:

• Rinse thoroughly with water after using Restrain 200 Herbicide.
• Use an alkali detergent for decontamination before spraying cotton and other sensitive crops.
• For diesel-based sprays, use a degreaser like Caltex Kwik-D-Grease to remove diesel traces and then clean with water and an alkali detergent.
