GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING: SANOS 450 Non-Selective Herbicide belongs to the Glycines group of herbicides and has the inhibitors of EPSP synthase mode of action. It is crucial to manage weed resistance by rotating herbicides. Resistant weed biotypes may develop with repeated use, and SANOS 450 may not control them. Sanonda (Australia) Pty. Ltd. bears no liability for losses resulting from SANOS 450's failure to control resistant weeds.

MIXING PROCEDURES:

  1. Ensure the spray tank is free of any previous spray chemicals. Use Sanonda Tank & Equipment Cleaner for effective cleaning.

  2. Half-fill the spray tank with clean water, add the required amount of SANOS 450, and then fill with clean water. Add SanwetTM TG1000 (non-ionic surfactant) last. Using muddy water may reduce effectiveness.

  3. Agitate well before spraying, avoiding excessive foaming.

  4. When tank mixing with other compatible chemicals, add SANOS 450 after other water-soluble products but before flowables like Striket TM.

USAGE:

  • SANOS 450 is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems, translocating through the plant from point of contact into the root system.

  • Effects may take 3-7 days for annual weeds and 10-20 days for perennial weeds, depending on weather conditions and weed species.

  • SANOS 450 controls emerged weeds only and provides no residual weed control. Apply when weeds are actively growing.

  • There is no withholding period for SANOS 450. Avoid grazing weeds for one day (annual weeds) or 7-10 days (perennial weeds) after spraying.

SURFACTANT ADDITION: The addition of SanwetTM TG1000 (non-ionic surfactant) at the recommended ratio is advised. Adjust the rate based on specific weed types. Always follow agricultural surfactant label instructions.

TANK MIXTURES: SANOS 450 can be tank mixed with other herbicides for improved control of certain weed species. Follow label instructions for specific tank mixtures.

APPLICATION:

  • Use suitable equipment and spray volumes as recommended for effective coverage.

  • Aerial application is suitable in pasture or fallow situations, ensuring adequate crop coverage.

  • Adjust application procedures in hot conditions to optimize efficacy and minimize drift.

  • Thoroughly wash all spray equipment after each use to prevent corrosion and contamination.

PROTECTION AND STORAGE:

  • Avoid direct contact or drift of SANOS 450 on desirable plants, trees, or adjacent crops.

  • Store SANOS 450 in the original closed containers in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

  • Dispose of containers properly, following local regulations. Rinse containers before disposal.

  • Handle SANOS 450 with care to avoid skin and eye irritation. Wear appropriate protective gear during handling and application.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS AND FIRST AID: Follow safety precautions and first aid measures provided on the product label to prevent accidents and ensure personal safety.
