GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Weeds should be sprayed while actively growing and at their most susceptible stage. Annuals should be sprayed when young, and perennials just before the appearance of the bud stage. Avoid extremes of cold or drought. Ideal conditions include moist soil, fine weather, and no rain expected within 6 hours of application. Avoid spraying crops or weeds outside the stages indicated in "Critical Comments" to prevent damage, yield loss, or inadequate weed control. Avoid spraying in high winds.

APPLICATION AND MIXING INFORMATION

This product mixes readily with water. Half fill the spray tank with clean water and add the required amount of product. Agitate thoroughly before adding the remaining water.

• Boom Spraying: Use 30-120L water per hectare. Use a minimum of 170L water per hectare for LINSEED.

• Aerial Spraying: Use 10-90L water per hectare.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND USAGE

Equipment used for this chemical should not be used for applying other materials to sensitive plants unless cleaned with Spraymate Tank & Equipment Cleaner or a 2% solution of cloudy ammonia followed by clear water rinses.

COMPATIBILITY AND TANK MIXES

This product can be tank mixed with various herbicides including Diflufenican, Metsulfuron-Methyl, Dicamba, Bromoxynil, Flowable Diuron, Clopyralid, Sethoxydim, Diquat/Paraquat, Flowable Terbutryn, Picloram, and Methabenzthiazuron. Compatibility with PHOSMET, OMETHOATE, and Dimethoate may be reduced by alkaline hydrolysis; adding LI 700® is recommended in such cases. When tank mixing, add compatible products and surfactants (if recommended) when the spray tank is nearly full and continuously agitating. Agitate thoroughly before spraying if left overnight.

Resistance Warning:

RELYON MCPA 750 SELECTIVE HERBICIDE is a Group I herbicide with the Disruptors of plant cell growth mode of action. Resistance may occur in weed populations exposed to repeated use of disruptors of plant cell growth herbicides.

Precautions: DRIFT WARNING

Avoid spraying under conditions or using equipment that may cause spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops. Take care to prevent spray drift onto crops such as cotton, tobacco, tomatoes, vines, fruit trees, vegetables, legume crops, oilseed crops, and susceptible trees.

LEGUME TOLERANCE

RELYON MCPA 750 SELECTIVE HERBICIDE is preferred over 2,4-D Amine or Ester where legumes are undersown in the crop. Note that tolerance of pasture legumes can vary with species, variety, growing conditions, stage of growth, and companion crop cover. Avoid spraying cereal crops undersown with lucerne.

RE-ENTRY PERIOD

Avoid hand weeding for 7 days after spray application unless wearing appropriate protective clothing including cotton overalls, chemical-resistant gloves, and footwear.
