GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

PRODUCT INFORMATION

FARMALINX Sixgun 360 Herbicide is a non-volatile, water-soluble liquid with non-selective herbicidal activity against many annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and grasses. It may be used for weed control in agricultural land before sowing any edible or non-edible crop, excluding transplanting tomato seedlings.

The herbicide is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems, immediately inactivated in the soil, and does not provide residual weed control. It moves through the plant from contact to the root system, with visible effects taking 3-7 days on annual weeds and longer on perennial weeds. Delay application until vegetation has emerged to the specified stages.

RESISTANT WEED WARNING

FARMALINX Sixgun 360 Herbicide is a member of the Glycines group, with the inhibition of EPSP synthase mode of action. It is a Group M Herbicide for weed resistance management. Resistant weed biotypes may exist, and repeated use can lead to dominance by resistant individuals. The herbicide may not control resistant weeds.

MIXING

  • Mixes readily with water, but reduced results may occur with water containing soil or hard water.
  • Ensure the spray tank is free of residues from previous sprays.
  • Use promptly and within 5 days; gradual loss of activity may occur.
  • Fill the tank halfway with clean water, add the herbicide, and mix well before adding the remaining water.
  • Do not use mechanical agitators to avoid excessive foaming.
  • Avoid galvanized or unlined steel containers; use stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, plastic, or plastic-lined containers.

TANK MIXTURES/COMPATIBILITY

FARMALINX Sixgun 360 Herbicide can be tank-mixed with specified herbicides, insecticides, and additives. Follow all label directions, restraints, plant-back periods, withholding periods, regional use restrictions, and safety directions for the tank mix products.

APPLICATION

  • Apply in a suitable volume of water for even coverage.
  • Use recommended rates of Sixgun in 25 to 200 liters of clean water per hectare.
  • For boom equipment, use pressures in the range 240-280 kPa, with fan nozzle equipment and double overlap at the top of the weed canopy.
  • For high volume application, use dilution rates specified in the label.
  • Wiper equipment should operate a minimum of 10 cm above the crop or pasture, with weeds at least 15 cm above the crop at the time of application.
  • Flush out equipment with water after use.
