GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Carpenter 240EC Herbicide is an emulsifiable concentrate formulation to be mixed with water and applied according to labeled Directions for Use. It is a post-emergence herbicide effective in controlling certain broadleaf weeds, including marshmallow, in various agricultural and non-crop settings.

SYMPTOMS

Rapidly absorbed through plant foliage, Carpenter 240EC Herbicide causes desiccation and necrosis within hours of application. Environmental conditions such as temperature, moisture, and soil conditions can influence its activity, with warm, moist conditions accelerating symptoms.

COMPATIBILITY

For most applications, Carpenter 240EC Herbicide should be tank mixed with knockdown herbicides based on glyphosate, paraquat, or Basta. It is compatible with various partner herbicides commonly used with knockdown herbicides and with certain adjuvants and surfactants.

TIMING

Application should target small, actively growing weeds, preferably less than 6 to 8 leaf in stage. Best control is achieved when weeds are exposed and not shielded by other vegetation. For cotton, apply Carpenter 240EC Herbicide to desiccate regrowth before harvest.

MIXING

Add Carpenter 240EC Herbicide to the spray tank with half the required volume of water and start agitation. Follow with any partner herbicides and adjuvants as recommended. Maintain good agitation until spraying is completed. Do not store the spray mixture overnight.

APPLICATION

Ground sprayers should apply Carpenter 240EC Herbicide as a broadcast application using appropriate nozzles and spray volumes. Calibration ensures correct and uniform application. Aerial application is permitted only for cotton desiccation, with thorough coverage recommended.

SPRAYER CLEAN OUT

Thoroughly clean all spray equipment after using Carpenter 240EC Herbicide, following the specified procedure. Ensure proper equipment clean-out for any other products mixed with Carpenter 240EC Herbicide as specified on their labels.
