GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Product Description:
Smart Pass 450 Herbicide is a water-soluble liquid with non-selective herbicidal activity against broadleaf weeds. It controls emerged weeds only and does not provide residual control. The herbicide is absorbed by plant foliage, accumulating to toxic levels in regions of growth and reproduction, leading to the gradual yellowing, wilting, and eventual browning of plants.

Application Timing:
Apply Smart Pass 450 Herbicide to actively growing weeds, avoiding poor growing or dormant conditions such as drought, waterlogging, or following frost. Results may take 7-10 days to become apparent, or up to 21 days under cold or cloudy conditions.

Crop Establishment:
Smart Pass 450 Herbicide is recommended as a herbicide additive to glyphosate for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment. Certain plant back periods should be observed to ensure safe sowing of crops after herbicide application.

Application Equipment:
For ground application, use boom equipment with flat fan nozzles and pressures in the range of 240-280kPa. Ensure double overlap of nozzle patterns at the top of the weed canopy. For aerial application, use Micronair or boom equipment with a minimum spray volume of 15L/ha and droplets with an average size of 250-350 micron diameter.

Spraying Conditions:
Avoid spraying under strong winds. High temperatures or low relative humidity may reduce results due to excessive evaporation of spray droplets. Thoroughly wash aircraft after each day of spraying to remove herbicide residues.

Equipment Maintenance:
Use stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, fibreglass, or plastic-lined containers for mixing, storing, and applying Smart Pass 450/Glyphosate solutions. Do not use galvanised steel or unlined steel containers, as they may react with the herbicide.

Compatibility and Tank Mixtures:
Smart Pass 450 Herbicide is compatible with glyphosate herbicides and certain other herbicides, insecticides, and adjuvants. Tank mixing with compatible products can improve weed control effectiveness.

Surfactant Addition:
Surfactants should be added only in specific situations, following label directions. Bonus or LI-700 acidifying surfactant may be used with Glyphosate 450g/L. Do not mix with spraying oils or other materials unless directed.

Mixing Instructions:
Mix Smart Pass 450 Herbicide with water in a clean spray tank, ensuring thorough agitation throughout the process. Add recommended herbicide additives or insecticides before adding Smart Pass 450 Herbicide and Glyphosate 450g/L. Maintain agitation during application and use the tank mix promptly.
