GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

MIXING/APPLICATION

1. Prior to pouring, shake the container vigorously, then add the required quantity of STRIDENT Insecticide to water in the spray vat while stirring or with agitators in motion.

Dilute Spraying

• Use a sprayer designed for high volumes of water up to the point of run-off, matching the crop growth stage.
• Calibrate and operate the sprayer for even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
• Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off, avoiding excessive run-off.
• Determine the required water volume through tests, industry guidelines, or specialist advice.
• Add the specified amount of product per 100 L of water and spray to the point of run-off.
• Adjust dilute spray volume, sprayer calibration, and operation as the crop grows.

Concentrate Spraying

• Use a calibrated sprayer for concentrate spraying matched to the crop stage.
• Calibrate for even coverage throughout the crop canopy using the chosen water volume.
• Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.
• Calculate the concentrate mixing rate using the concentration factor.
• Adjust the chosen spray volume, product amount per 100 L of water, and sprayer setup as the crop grows.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: CITRUS ONLY

• Apply STRIDENT Insecticide in sufficient water to ensure complete wetting of all surfaces.
• For oscillating booms, use a spray volume of 7,000 to 12,000 L water/ha for trees up to 5m high.
• Optimize control with recommended application procedures, including ground speed, pump pressure, oscillation rate, spray pattern, and agitation.
• For airblast sprayers, use approximately 5000 L/ha for jassid control.

COMPATIBILITY

• STRIDENT Insecticide is compatible with mancozeb and other common agricultural chemicals. Contact your supplier or Cheminova representative for compatibility information.
• Not compatible with Sacoa BioPest Oil or highly alkaline/acidic products.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT

• After using STRIDENT Insecticide, empty the tank, wash inside thoroughly, clean filters, and drain the system.
• Circulate clean water through pumps, lines, hoses, and nozzles. Repeat rinsing procedure twice.
• Discharge rinse water to a designated disposal area or unused land away from plants and water courses.

Resistance Warning:

• STRIDENT is a Group 16 insecticide. To minimize resistance, limit applications to no more than two per season.
