GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Mixing:

• Add water to the spray tank to a level at least 10 cm above the level of agitation, ensuring vigorous agitation.

• There must be a minimum of 100 L of water in the tank before adding any pesticide.

• If tank mixing, add soluble liquid formulations first, then add Spalding Trekker 520 EC Herbicide, followed by wettable powder or water dispersible granules, and finally, spraying oil or wetter.

Spraying Oils/Wetters:

• It is essential to add an adjuvant to Spalding Trekker 520 EC Herbicide. Uptake Spraying Oil is recommended at specific rates.

• Non-ionic wetting agents should be used when oils are not used, at specified rates depending on the water volume.

Application:

• Apply Spalding Trekker 520 EC Herbicide in sufficient water to obtain good coverage, using accurately calibrated ground rig or aircraft.

• Recommended spray volumes are provided for both ground and aerial application, with higher volumes recommended for dense crops.

Cleaning Spray Equipment:

• Before and after using Spalding Trekker 520 EC Herbicide, thorough cleaning of spray equipment is necessary.

• Follow specific cleaning instructions, particularly if broadleaf herbicides have been previously used, to prevent damage to susceptible crops.

• Rinse and decontaminate the tank and system thoroughly, using an alkali detergent solution for sensitive crops.
