General Instructions for Grochem Tribasic Liquid Fungicide:

Mixing/Application:

  • Fill the spray vat with good quality water.
  • Pour the required quantity of Grochem Tribasic Liquid Fungicide into the spray vat with agitation running.
  • DO NOT pre-mix the fungicide in water before adding to the spray vat.
  • If other pesticides are applied, mix them thoroughly before adding Grochem Tribasic Liquid Fungicide.
  • Continuous agitation is essential during spraying.

Wetting Agents:

  • Spraymate Activator is required for Brassicas, Faba Beans, Peas, and Onions, regardless of the application method.
  • Wetting agent needed for concentrate spray or aircraft application.
  • Add wetting agent for other pesticides if required.

Dilute Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes, matching the crop.
  • Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
  • Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off, avoiding excessive run-off.
  • Determine water volume through tests, industry guidelines, or expert advice.
  • Add the specified amount of product per 100L of water and spray to the point of run-off.
  • Adjust dilute spray volume and sprayer setup as the crop grows.

Concentrate Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying, matched to the crop.
  • Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy with the chosen water volume.
  • Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.
  • Calculate concentrate mixing rate using the concentration factor.

Example for Concentrate Spraying:

  1. Dilute spray volume: e.g., 1,500 L/ha
  2. Chosen spray volume: e.g., 500 L/ha
  3. Concentration factor: 3x (1,500 L ÷ 500 L)
  4. If the dilute label rate is 10 mL/100 L, then the concentrate rate becomes 3 x 10, i.e., 30 mL/100 L of concentrate spray.
  5. Adjust spray volume, product amount, and sprayer setup as the crop grows.

Specific Instructions for Various Crops:

Deciduous Fruit and Almonds:

  • Apply as dilute or up to 2 times concentrate spray.
  • Use air-blast sprayer calibrated for even distribution.
  • Preferably use sprayer with cone nozzles for concentrate sprays.

Citrus and Litchi:

  • Apply only as a dilute spray.
  • Calibrate equipment for the required spray volume.
  • Consider application with an oscillating boom sprayer for better canopy penetration.

Avocados & Mangoes:

  • Apply as dilute or up to 3 times concentrate spray.
  • Calibrate equipment for the required spray volume.
  • Ensure even distribution through the trees, preferably with cone nozzles.

Olives:

  • Test on a small number of trees before widespread application.
  • Avoid host damage by evaluating sensitivity.

Vines:

  • Apply sufficient volume to wet all leaf surfaces to the point of run-off.
  • Use a medium to fine spray with cone nozzles.
  • Air-blast sprayers recommended for dense foliage.

Walnuts:

  • Apply only as a dilute spray.
  • Thoroughly wet blossoms, nutlets, and foliage.
  • Fine sprays recommended for optimal results.

Tobacco Seed Beds:

  • Apply only as a dilute spray.
  • Thoroughly saturate seedlings using a medium to fine hand-directed spray.

Vegetables:

  • Thorough coverage is essential for maximum effectiveness.
  • Dilute sprays with cone nozzles for medium to fine droplets.
  • Adjust spray volumes based on plant growth and foliage density.

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with most insecticides/pyrethroids, dormant spraying oils, Penncozeb 750 DF, Wettable Sulphur, or Urea.
  • Mixtures with more than one of these products are not recommended.
  • Conduct a test for compatibility with foliar fertilizers.

Resistance Warning:

  • Group M1 Fungicide.
  • Fungicide resistance management is crucial.
  • Grochem Australia Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses due to product failure against resistant fungi.
