GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Incorporation Details:
- The product must be incorporated into the soil within 4 hours of application. Exception: For crops sown with minimum tillage sowing equipment, the application can occur up to 24 hours before incorporation.
Incorporation Table:
- Prior to furrowing out: Use Offset or Tandem disc harrows with 2 workings at an angle.
- After furrowing out: Utilize Go-Devil discs or Lilliston cultivators set at a 10 cm depth for 2 workings.
- Rotary Hoe: 1 working at 5-7.5 cm depth. For Sugar Cane: 7.5-13cm depth.
- Offset or Tandem Disc Harrows: 2 workings at an angle, preferably with spiked harrows, at 7.5-15 cm depth.
- Heavy Diamond or Stump Jump Harrows: 1 working at 10-13 km/hr speed, then cross work with offset or tandem disc harrows.
- Weighted Heavy Diamond or Stump Jump Harrows: 1 working at 10-13 km/hr speed, then cross work with combine at 5-7.5 cm depth.
- Disc Ratoon Cultivator: 2 workings with discs and cultivator at 7.5-13 cm depth.
- Offset or Tandem Disc Harrows: Set at 7.5-15 cm depth, followed by a second discing working in opposite direction.
- Rotary Hoe: 1 working at 5-10 cm depth.
- Offset Discs (Bumpers): 2 workings at a depth of 7.5-13 cm.
- Incorporation by Sowing (IBS) with heavy diamond harrows.
- Post-sowing/Pre-emergence: Use heavy diamond harrows perpendicular to sowing direction.
- Incorporation by Sowing (IBS) with knife or blade points. Ensure slow to moderate speed to avoid soil throw into adjacent furrows.
Notes on Incorporation:
- Knife or blade point systems may result in poor weed control and should not be used with disc openers.
Mixing Instructions:
- The product is an emulsifiable concentrate that mixes well with water. Add the recommended amount to the spray tank and apply 70-450 L of water/ha based on soil type and stubble coverage. Maintain agitation throughout and use a properly calibrated sprayer.
Conditions for Best Results:
- Thorough incorporation is essential. Ensure the soil is well-prepared and free of weeds. Avoid conditions that can cause Trifluralin loss, such as high temperatures or winds.
Wild Oats Control:
- Germinating wild oat seeds on the soil surface can be controlled with shallow cultivation. Deep cultivation may result in poor control on certain soil types.
Compatibility:
- The product can be mixed with specified herbicides and insecticides. Always conduct a compatibility test before mixing.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Clean equipment thoroughly after application. Use Spraymate Tank & Equipment Cleaner for effective cleaning.
Resistant Weeds Warning:
- The product is a Group D herbicide. Ensure Integrated Weed Management practices to prevent the dominance of resistant weed populations.
Protection and Usage:
- Avoid high winds, exceed specified rates, or planting certain crops following product use. Ensure no contamination of waterways.
Storage and Disposal:
- Store in a cool, well-ventilated area. Follow specific disposal instructions for containers. For refillable containers, ensure proper rinsing before refilling.
Envirodrum Usage:
- Store in a cool area, away from sunlight. Return the Envirodrum to the point of purchase after use.
