General Instructions:
Weed Control:
AC Tubs 875 WG Herbicide selectively controls weeds in specified crops.
When applied pre-emergence, the product is primarily absorbed via the roots.
Adequate rainfall (20 to 30 mm) within 2 to 3 weeks of application is necessary for effectiveness.
Delayed activation may lead to some weed growth, especially in dry seasonal conditions.
In flood or furrow irrigation, full activation may not occur due to a thin band of dry soil on the surface.
Mechanical incorporation (using light harrows) up to 4 cm deep is necessary for irrigation water activation.
Dense weed populations may require both pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide treatment for optimal control.
APVMA Compliance Instructions for Mandatory COARSE or Larger Droplet Size Categories:
Use only nozzles rated to deliver COARSE, VERY COARSE, or EXTREMELY COARSE droplet sizes.
Do not exceed the maximum spray system pressure specified by the nozzle manufacturer.
Compliance ensures lawful application according to label requirements.
Integrated Weed Management Strategy for TT Canola:
Follow the approved Integrated Weed Management Strategy for the use of triazine herbicides in TT canola.
Implement practices to minimize herbicide resistance, reduce environmental residues, and manage volunteer plants and outcrossing.
To Minimize Herbicide Resistance:
Avoid dry sowing in heavily weed-infested paddocks. Wait for weed germination after the opening rains and use pre-plant knockdown or cultivation.
Do not use AC Tubs 875 WG Herbicide if triazine herbicides were applied to the area last season.
Monitor for escapes, especially in fields with a history of Group C herbicide use.
Avoid consecutive use of Group C herbicides.
Resistant Weeds Reporting:
Collect weed samples for testing if resistance is suspected, and seek professional advice.
Mixing:
Do not mix within 20m of water sources.
Partially fill the spray tank with water, add AC Tubs 875 WG Herbicide, and maintain agitation.
Compatibility:
Compatible with various herbicides, adjuvants, and surfactants. Conduct a compatibility test before tank mixing.
Application:
Apply when wind speed is between 3 and 20 km/h and avoid conditions conducive to surface temperature inversions.
Apply by ground boom only with a minimum of 50 L/ha using COARSE spray quality.
Follow specific pre-sowing, post-sowing pre-emergence (PSPE), and post-emergence application instructions for different crops.
Resistant Weeds Warning:
AC Tubs 875 WG Herbicide belongs to Group C herbicides. Weed resistance may develop if used repeatedly without proper management.
