GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Farmalinx Weapon Herbicide can be applied pre-planting or post-planting of forestry seedlings to control weeds and aid seedling establishment. Heavy rainfall may affect herbicide movement and efficacy, requiring sufficient rainfall (20 to 30 mm) within 2 to 3 weeks of application for effectiveness.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING Farmalinx Weapon Herbicide belongs to the triazines group with inhibitors of photosynthesis at photosystem II mode of action (Group 5). Resistance may develop in weed populations with repeated use. Conduct small-scale compatibility tests before tank mixing with other products.

MIXING Do not mix or load within 20 m of any water bodies. Partially fill the spray tank with water, maintain agitation, and add the required quantity of Weapon. Agitate thoroughly before and during spraying.

COMPATIBILITY Weapon is compatible with clopyralid and glyphosate (Bazooka). Conduct compatibility tests before tank mixing with other products.

APPLICATION

Ground Application:

• Apply with closed cab tractor only.

• Use ground boom in a minimum spray volume of 100 L/ha.

Aerial Application:

• Separate persons must handle mixing/loading and application.

• Use closed cockpit aircraft only.

• Apply in a spray volume of 50 L/ha.

Pre-Planting:

• Apply 1 month after a commercial knockdown treatment, to moist soil or before weed germination, up to a week before planting.

Post-Planting:

• Apply after planting. Add Techdeck or another suitable wetter at label rates when weeds emerge.

RE-ENTRY PERIOD When entering areas with treated weeds, wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, and footwear. Launder clothing and gloves after each use.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT Weapon is very toxic to aquatic life. Avoid contaminating wetlands or watercourses with the product or used containers.
