Curious weed
Schkuhria pinnata
- Also known as poverty weed.
- Leaves are alternate and 30–60 mm long, finely divided into narrow segments on lower parts and less finely divided on upper parts.
- Mature plants are erect, bushy, multi-branched and up to 0.4 m tall.
- The numerous tubular-shaped flowers occur singly at the tips of small branches or short stalks.
- Flowers are yellow.
