For the control of Argentine Stem Weevil larvae in Maize and Sweetcorn and Springtails and Aphids in forage Brassicas.

GENERAL INFORMATION
CRUISER 600 FS is a systemic seed treatment insecticide for the control of the Argentine Stem Weevil Larvae in maize and sweetcorn and Aphids and Springtails in forage brassicas.
NOTE: To minimise Argentine Stem Weevil Larvae infestation, ground that is out of grass or any other host crop, should be fallowed for at least 4 weeks prior to sowing to allow thorough breakdown and decomposition of turf.

APPLICATION
Method of Application
1. The seed should be clean before treatment.
2. CRUISER 600 FS can be applied to seed previously treated with a fungicide or in mixture with most commonly used seed treatment fungicides. NOTE: If a liquid seed treatment fungicide is used in mixture with CRUISER 600 FS this must be a water based formulation.
3. As CRUISER 600 FS does NOT contain a dye, the addition of a dye or coloured polymer is necessary.
4. Thoroughly agitate container before use.
5. For solo applications, add the required amount of CRUISER 600 FS into the mixing tank.
6. The seed treater should be calibrated with CRUISER 600 FS before use as flow characteristics may NOT be similar to other seed treatments. Water may be added to ensure coverage. Maintain agitation to avoid settling out and agitate well before application.
7. Under normal conditions it is NOT necessary to use a dryer. However, if a dryer is used, the temperature must NOT exceed 35°C at the surface of the seed.
8. Allow the treated seed to dry and use treated seed within the calendar year of treatment.
Treated seed
At the time of treatment the seed must be dyed a distinctive colour. Containers of treated seed must be labelled with the following:
1. Seed treated with CRUISER 600 FS must NOT be used for human or animal consumption.
2. Treated seed may be harmful to seed eating birds, and should be properly sown and completely covered by soil.
3. Excess seed is NOT to be left in areas accessible to birds.
4. Withholding period: Stock must NOT graze Maize, Sweetcorn or Forage Brassicas within 42 days of planting.

EQUIPMENT
CRUISER 600 FS can be applied using clean, suitable batch treaters or in any calibrated continuous flow seed treater.

COMPATIBILITY
CRUISER 600 FS can be mixed with other seed treatment compounds and can be used on fungicide pre-treated seeds. Liquid fungicides mixed with CRUISER 600 FS must be water based formulations.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place, avoiding temperatures below 0°C and above 32°C. When stored appropriately, this product should show no significant degradation for 2 years from the date of manufacture.

Critical comments: Super sweet varieties of sweetcorn may vary in tolerance to CRUISER 600 FS. Contact your local Syngenta Crop Protection representative for detailed information.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS
It is an offence for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standards.
