Entrust Naturalyte Insect Control controls certain pests in pipfruit, kiwifruit, avocados, grapes, stonefruit, vegetable brassicas and field tomatoes. It works by both contact and ingestion activity. Exposed larvae stop feeding immediately but can take up to 3 days to die. Entrust Naturalyte Insect Control belongs to the spinosyns group of insecticides.

APPLICATION METHODS
EQUIPMENT: Entrust Naturalyte Insect Control can be applied with conventional spraying equipment. Flush equipment thoroughly with clean water after use.

MIXING: Half fill the spray tank with water, add the appropriate amount of Entrust Naturalyte Insect Control, then complete filling the tank. Ensure thorough agitation by mechanical or hydraulic action at all times during mixing and application.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT
After using Entrust Naturalyte Insect Control empty the tank and completely drain the system. Rinse the tank, pumps, lines, hoses, filters and nozzles by circulating clean water through the system. Drain and repeat the rinsing procedure twice.

COMPATIBILITY
Entrust Naturalyte Insect Control is compatible with most other commonly used pesticides including lime sulphur.

USE OF MINERAL OILS AND WETTING AGENTS
For “organic” crops – ensure the mineral oil or wetting agent is approved by the appropriate “organic” certification authority.

RAINFASTNESS:
Avoid applications when rain is expected within 6 hours of spraying.

STORAGE OF DILUTED SPRAY MIX:
Whenever possible use spray mix immediately after it is prepared. However, when weather conditions prevent immediate use, the spray mix may be stored for up to 72 hours without loss of activity. The spray mix must be stored out of direct sunlight.

IMPORTANT. In order to select the appropriate nozzles for the required spray quality and tooperate the equipment to minimize spray drift, this product must be applied in accordance with the New Zealand Standard for the Management of Agrichemicals (NZS 8409).

POLLINATORS:
When applied during non-foraging periods Entrust Naturalyte Insect Control will not interfere with the activity of honeybees once the spray has dried. At least 3 hours drying time should occur before bee foraging is expected. At times when bees aggregate in large numbers outside the hive, ensure they are not directly contacted by the spray.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT:
Entrust Naturalyte Insect Control is a spinosyn insecticide (Group 5). Some naturally occurring individual insects may become resistant when excessive use of the same insecticide occurs. To maximise the effectiveness of insecticides, products containing alternate modes of action should be used in the spray program. Read the label below and consult http://www.nzpps.org/resistance/index.php for alternate modes of action and the details of resistance management strategies (if any) for the crops listed on the label.
To help prevent the development of resistance DO NOT apply more than 4 applications of Entrust Naturalyte Insect Control to any crop in any one season. Use insecticides from a different chemical group if more than 4 applications are required.
Brassicas – to minimise the development of insect resistance, refer to the DiamondbackMoth Resistance Management Strategy (published on the New Zealand Plant Protection Society (Inc) web site www.nzpps.org ) for the appropriate application timing window.
