ParaForce is a non-selective contact herbicide manufactured by Nichino Chemical India. It contains 24% Paraquat Dichloride as the active ingredient.

ParaForce is effective against both grasses and broadleaf weeds. It works by interfering with electron transfer in photosystem I, inhibiting the photosynthesis process by forming superoxide free radicals. ParaForce is absorbed by leaves and translocated through Xylem 1. It is used as a post-emergent herbicide and exhibits rapid action on contact.

The recommended dosage of ParaForce varies depending on the crop and weed. For example, for paddy (rice), the recommended dosage is between 500-1400 ml/acre, while for cotton, it is between 500-800 ml/acre.

ParaForce is available in a bottle and is absorbed by the foliage, with some translocation in the xylem.
