Cephaleuros virescens

It is a common plant pathogen in tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world. Though it is mainly harmless to plants, it can effect economy by lowering rates of photosynthesis in its hosts and making the fruits appear damaged with spots.

Cephaleuros virescens can reproduce sexually and asexually. When its spores come in contact with a plant, it will grow on the epidermis of the leaves, stem, or fruit.
