It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, eitherdirectly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application.
For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation. IMPORTANT! Read precautionary statements before using this product. Do not use this product on Long Island, NY.

PHORATE 20 G should be applied with a granular pesticide applicator properly calibrated to assure accurate placement and proper dosage. Incorporation into soil is required. Only one application per crop per season may be made. Use on peanuts at pegging .is prohibited. Application of phorate in saturated soils is prohibited. Do not treat while precipitation is occurring or while conditions favor runoff from the treated area. Do not apply in wet soil conditions that may prevent the equipment from covering pesticide granules.
Under some conditions phorate may have a high potential for runoff into surface water for several days post application. Do not apply in the following situations: Frequently flooded areas Areas where intense or sustained rainfall is forecasted to occur within 48 hours. In the event of a crop failure, any crop on this label can be replanted immediately. All other crops must not be planted in treated fields for 9 months after application.
