GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

agVantage Alpha Cypermethrin Duo 100 Insecticide is a contact and residual insecticide suitable for protective treatment at regular intervals or as a knockdown treatment for existing infestations.

INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING:

This product belongs to Group 3A insecticides. Insect biotypes resistant to this product and other Group 3A insecticides may exist due to genetic variability. Continuous use may lead to reduced effectiveness against resistant individuals. Users assume no liability for losses resulting from the failure to control resistant insects. Specific resistance management strategies may apply.

MIXING/APPLICATION:

Low and High Volume Applications with Water Carrier:

Add the required quantity of agVantage Alpha Cypermethrin Duo 100 Insecticide to water in the spray tank and mix thoroughly. Maintain agitation during mixing and application.

Ultra Low Volume (ULV) Application with Oil-Based Bulking Agents:

For ULV application with oil-based bulking agents like D-C-TRON Cotton Spray Oil, add the mixing partner first. Then, with the agitator in motion, add agVantage Alpha Cypermethrin Duo 100 Insecticide directly to the spray tank. Do not mix with water, ensuring no water is in the spraying system.

DILUTE SPRAYING:

Use a sprayer designed for high volumes of water up to the point of run-off. Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off. Avoid excessive run-off.

CONCENTRATE SPRAYING:

Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying. Set up and operate to achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy. Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy. Calculate the concentrate mixing rate using the concentration factor.

GROUND APPLICATION — WATER CARRIER:

Apply by ground or aircraft with a water carrier. Thorough coverage is essential. Apply with a non-ionic surfactant unless specified on the label of a tank mix partner. Apply during cooler parts of the day or night.

AERIAL APPLICATION — WATER CARRIER:

Do not apply to trellis tomatoes by aircraft. Use a minimum spray volume of 20 L/ha. For spring/early application to cereals, Linola, canola, rice, and other dense crops, apply in a total spray volume of 30–35 L/ha. Spray in a crosswind. Avoid spraying in calm conditions or when wind is light and variable in direction. Apply as a spray of 100-150 microns VMD.

ULV APPLICATION BY AIRCRAFT:

Apply with compatible ULV formulations. Use a minimum total spray volume of 1.5L/ha. Provide a droplet size of approximately 80-100 microns VMD. Apply in the cooler part of the day or at night. Avoid application in very calm or windy conditions.

COMPATIBILITY:

Compatible with various products; see the Compatibility Section for details. Do not mix with wettable powders and WDGs before adding to the spray tank. For ULV application by aircraft, mix only with specific ULV formulations or other insecticides as directed.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK:

Dangerous to bees. Do not spray on plants in flower while bees are foraging. May deter foraging bees; reduce risk by spraying in early morning or late evening when bees are not foraging.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

Dangerous to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not contaminate water bodies. Drift and run-off may be hazardous to fish or crustaceans in adjacent sites.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. Triple rinse containers for disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemical on site. For recycling, containers must be clean, dry, and free of visible residues with the drumMUSTER logo visible. If not recycling, deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility. Refillable containers (110L and 1000L): Empty into application equipment. Return to the point of supply for refill or storage.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

Harmful if swallowed. Irritates eyes and skin. Facial skin contact may cause temporary numbness. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and inhalation of vapor or spray mist. When preparing spray, wear protective clothing including cotton overalls, washable hat, elbow-length PVC gloves, and face shield or goggles. Wash exposed areas thoroughly after use and before eating, drinking, or smoking.
