General Instructions:

ALPHA-SCUD 300 SC is an insecticide effective for both contact and residual control. It can be used preventively at regular intervals or as a knockdown treatment for existing infestations.

Mixing: When using ALPHA-SCUD 300 SC with water carrier, add the required amount to the spray tank and mix thoroughly. Maintain agitation during mixing and application.

Application: For Dilute Spraying (Pome and Stone Fruit, Grapes):

  • Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes.

  • Apply water to cover the crop to the point of run-off, avoiding excessive run-off.

  • Follow industry guidelines or expert advice for determining the required water volume.

  • Add ALPHA-SCUD 300 SC according to the Directions for Use table.

  • Adjust spraying setup and operation as the crop grows.

For Concentrate Spraying (Pome and Stone Fruit, Grapes):

  • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying.

  • Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.

  • Calculate the concentrate mixing rate using the dilute spray volume.

  • Adjust spraying setup and operation as needed.

For Low Volume and High Volume application by ground rig or aircraft:

  • Ensure thorough coverage for adequate control.

  • Apply with a non-ionic surfactant unless otherwise directed.

  • Apply during cooler parts of the day or night.

Resistance Warning: ALPHA-SCUD 300 SC is a Group 3A insecticide. Overuse may lead to resistance in insect populations. Consult local authorities for specific resistance management strategies.

Precautions:

  • Avoid spraying on plants in flower while bees are foraging.

  • Reduce risk to bees by spraying in early morning or late evening.

  • Avoid contaminating streams, rivers, or waterways.

  • Follow storage and disposal instructions carefully to minimize environmental impact.
