General Instructions:
Before Use:
- Carefully read Directions for Use, Precautionary and Protection Statements, Storage and Disposal, Safety Directions, and First Aid Instructions.
Mixing:
- Half fill the spray tank with clean water.
- Add the required amount of this product.
- Agitate thoroughly.
- Add the remainder of water and agitate again before spraying.
Application:
- Do not use rain-drop or air-induction nozzles for inadequate weed coverage.
- Boom Sprayer: Calibrate for correct application rate. Check boom height for even distribution.
- Cereals: Apply 50 to 200 liters of water per hectare. Higher volume for heavy weed infestation or dense crop cover.
- Linseed: Apply a minimum of 220 liters of water per hectare.
- Turf: Apply a minimum of 500 liters of water per hectare.
- Aerial Application: Apply a minimum of 22 liters of water per hectare (30 liters if tank-mixing with Nugrass®500).
- Markers should move upwind before the aircraft passes overhead.
- Micronaire equipment may yield variable results.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Wash application equipment thoroughly with Spraymate Tank & Equipment Cleaner and rinse after use.
Compatibility:
- Physically compatible with certain herbicides or insecticides in wheat and barley.
- Test mixtures with other manufacturers' products before commercial use.
Resistant Weeds Warning:
- Genfarm Brom-M is a Group C and Group I Herbicide.
- Weed resistance may occur; Landmark Operations Limited accepts no liability for losses.
- Follow resistance management strategies.
Protection of Crops and Environment:
- Avoid spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, lands, or pastures.
- Do not apply under conditions causing drift.
- Maximum daily temperatures at or above 20°C may result in seedling mortality.
Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans:
- Dangerous to fish. Avoid contamination of streams, rivers, or waterways.
Protection of Livestock:
- Grazing Precaution: Sprayed weeds may become more palatable to stock, potentially causing poisoning and death.
- Care should be taken, especially with capeweed, Paterson’s curse, and variegated thistles.
Storage and Disposal:
- Store in a closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
- Do not store in direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Triple or pressure rinse containers before disposal.
- Dispose of rinsate by adding to the spray tank.
- Follow drumMUSTER recycling guidelines.
- If not recycling, bury empty packaging in compliance with regulations. Do not burn.
Safety Directions:
- Product is poisonous if inhaled or swallowed.
- Attacks the eyes and irritates the skin.
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin; do not inhale spray mist.
- Wear protective clothing during preparation and application.
- Wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly after use and before eating, drinking, or smoking.
