GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Resistant Weeds Warning

Bromoxynil M Selective Herbicide belongs to the nitrile and phenoxy groups of herbicides, having the inhibitor of photosynthesis at photosystem II and disruptor of plant cell growth modes of action. It is a Group C and I herbicide for weed resistance management. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Bromoxynil M and other Group C and I herbicides may exist. Repeated use can lead to resistant weeds dominating the population, not controlled by Bromoxynil M. Kenso Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd is not liable for losses resulting from Bromoxynil M's failure to control resistant weeds.

Note

Maximum daily temperatures at or above 20°C during application or on days following treatment may cause seedling mortality, and established plants may be damaged.

Application

Mixing

To ensure even mixing, half-fill the spray tank with clean water, add the required product amount, agitate, then add the rest of the water. Agitate again before spraying.

Calibrate the machine for the correct application rate. Check boom height for even distribution. Wash equipment thoroughly after use.

Cereals

Apply 50 to 200 litres of water per hectare. Use a minimum of 160 to 200 litres in heavy infestations or dense crop cover. Complete coverage of weeds is essential.

Do not graze horses or pigs on Paterson’s curse. Contact the Department of Agriculture if in doubt.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS

DO NOT apply under conditions causing drift onto nearby plants, adjacent crops, or pastures. Avoid drift onto susceptible crops like cotton, tobacco, tomatoes, vines, lupins, fruit trees, and ornamentals. DO NOT apply by misting machines.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT

Dangerous to fish. DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.
