GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Smart Combination 250 Herbicide is designed for the control of a wide range of annual grasses, broadleaf weeds, and some perennial grasses. The active ingredients are quickly absorbed by soil particles, leaving no effective soil residues. Proper application techniques, mixing, and compatibility considerations are important for effective use.

APPLICATION TIMING:

• Apply Smart Combination 250 directly onto the leaves of target weeds for rapid control.
• No effective soil residues are left, allowing for immediate sowing of crops after spraying.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

• Smart Combination 250 belongs to Group L herbicides, with the inhibitor of photosynthesis at Photosystem I mode of action.
• Be aware of potential resistance in weed populations, and do not solely rely on Smart Combination 250 for control.
• Regular checks before and after sowing are recommended.

MIXING:

• Add the recommended rate of Smart Combination 250 to water in the spray tank.
• Ensure even mixing and agitate again if left standing.

APPLICATION METHOD:

Boomspray:

• Use a properly calibrated boom spray with flat fan jets.
• Adjust the height to provide at least double overlap of the spray at the top of the weeds.
• Maintain spraying pressures in the range of 240-280 kPa.
• Travel speed should be between 6 to 10 km/hr.
• Use a good marking system, and if a disc marker is used, ensure it turns the soil back onto the sprayed area.

COMPATIBILITY:

• Smart Combination 250 is compatible with specific herbicides, insecticides, and surfactants. Check the label for the full list.
• Tank mixes with 2,4-D and MCPA formulations should not be more concentrated than 2 parts Smart Combination 250 to 1 part 2,4-D or MCPA.
• Mixtures with more than one product should be checked for compatibility through a jar test.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE PLANTS, AND LIVESTOCK:

• Avoid spraying under conditions that may cause drift onto nearby susceptible plants or crops.
• Keep domestic pets and poultry away from treated areas.
• Low hazard to bees; no special precautions required.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

• Avoid contaminating streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used container.
• Do not apply on or near water used for human consumption, livestock watering, or irrigation.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

• Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed, and fertilizers.
• Follow the instructions on the label for container disposal methods.
