GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Post-emergence Herbicide: TITAN Diflufenican 25 + Bromoxynil 250 Selective Herbicide provides post-emergence contact control of weeds, with potential residual control of Wild Radish for up to 4 weeks after application.
Immediate Application: Apply immediately after mixing, avoiding leaving the solution in the spray tank overnight.
Optimal Conditions: Best results are achieved with good soil moisture at and after application, and when weeds and crops are not stressed.
Pre-emergence Herbicides: Some pre-emergence herbicides, such as atrazine, can cause stress to certain crops, particularly lucerne and subterranean clover, potentially increasing crop damage when used in conjunction with this product.
RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:
Herbicide Group: TITAN Diflufenican 25 + Bromoxynil 250 Selective Herbicide belongs to Group 6, 12 herbicides, inhibiting photosynthesis at photosystem II and carotenoid biosynthesis.
Resistance Management: Resistant weed biotypes may develop with repeated use, rendering the herbicide ineffective. Proper resistance management strategies are essential.
Liability: The manufacturer accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of the herbicide to control resistant weeds.
TEMPERATURE WARNING:
Frost Sensitivity: Avoid application if frosts are imminent, as frost can stress crops and weeds, potentially increasing crop effects and decreasing weed control.
Temperature Consideration: Do not apply when maximum daily temperatures exceed 20°C or are likely to exceed this level for a few days post-application, as increased crop damage may occur.
CROP TOLERANCE:
Cereals: Transient crop yellowing may occur after application but should not affect subsequent growth under normal conditions.
Lucerne: Tolerance varies with factors like application rate, soil type, crop health, growth stage, and moisture/temperature stress. Crop yellowing and growth suppression may occur but should not affect subsequent growth under normal conditions.
Subterranean Clover: Tolerance varies similarly to lucerne. Initial yellowing and growth suppression may occur, especially with higher application rates.
Other Clovers: Sensitivity varies among varieties, with some showing increased sensitivity to the herbicide. Care should be taken if these varieties are part of the pasture sward.
Subsequent Crops: Thorough cultivation of soil prior to sowing subsequent susceptible crops (e.g., canola) can reduce the herbicide's effect.
MIXING:
Procedure: Half fill the spray tank with clean water, add the herbicide, and agitate thoroughly during spraying. Reseal part-used containers immediately after use.
APPLICATION:
Boom Sprayer: Use a minimum of 50L water/ha, with recommended rates between 70-100L/ha for optimal results. Adjust water volume based on weed infestation and crop cover density, ensuring complete coverage of weeds while minimizing crop damage symptoms.
