General Instructions for Dinon 700 WG Fungicide:

Mixing: Pour the measured volume of Dinon 700 WG Fungicide slowly into the required water volume in the spray vat. Mix thoroughly, and then add any other compatible spray materials. Use sprays containing Dinon 700 WG Fungicide within 3 hours of preparation, with continuous agitation during this period.

Wetting Agents: For stone fruit applications, add a non-ionic wetting agent, such as SST Vitiwet. If a wetting agent is not required for Dinon 700 WG Fungicide, one may be added if needed for other pesticides, provided it is non-ionic.

Application:

Dilute Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes up to run-off, matched to the crop.
  • Set up and operate the sprayer for even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
  • Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off, avoiding excessive run-off.
  • Determine water volume from industry guidelines or expert advice.
  • Add the specified amount of product per 100L of water. Spray to the point of run-off.
  • Adjust dilute spray volume and sprayer setup as the crop grows.

Concentrate Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying, matched to the crop.
  • Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy with the chosen water volume.
  • Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy to calculate the concentrate mixing rate.
  • Calculate concentrate mixing rate based on the dilute label rate.
  • Adjust equipment and operation as the crop grows.
  • Consult industry guidelines, undergo competency training, and follow Best Practices for concentrate spraying.

Grape Vines:

  • Ground Equipment: Apply a dilute spray with sufficient volume to wet all leaf surfaces to the point of run-off. Use a medium to fine spray with cone nozzles or air-blast sprayers for dense foliage.
  • Aircraft: Apply in a minimum of 20 liters of water per hectare. Use hydraulic nozzles or rotary atomizers producing FINE droplets. Avoid application in calm or very windy conditions or rapid drying.

Compatibility:

  • Dinon 700 WG Fungicide should NOT be mixed with more than one other material, except for non-ionic wetting agents.
  • Incompatible with Agridex, Tokuthion, Chlorpyrifos EC, Iprodione (Rovral), winter or summer oils (except for stone fruit), and alkaline materials like lime sulfur, lime, and Bordeaux mixture.
  • Exercise caution with spraying oils and certain liquid formulations.

Crop Safety:

  • Slow-drying spray deposits under specific climatic conditions may result in minor skin russeting in some fruit varieties.

Resistance Warning:

  • Dinon 700 WG Fungicide is a Group M9 fungicide (Multi-site Activity Group). Continuous use may lead to the dominance of naturally occurring resistant fungi, reducing efficacy and causing yield loss.

Precautions:

Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

  • Dangerous to fish. Avoid contamination of streams, rivers, or watercourses with the chemical or used containers.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed, and fertilizers.
  • Single-rinse or shake empty packaging into the spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
  • Deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility. If unavailable, bury packaging in compliance with regulations.
  • Do not burn empty containers or product.
