GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

RESISTANCE WEED WARNING Flotilla Herbicide belongs to the pyridine group of herbicides and operates by disrupting plant cell growth. It's classified as a Group I Herbicide. Due to normal genetic variability, some weed biotypes resistant to Flotilla® and other Group I Herbicides may exist. To minimize the risk of herbicide resistance, consult with experts or agricultural authorities for appropriate strategies.

MIXING Flotilla Herbicide can be mixed with water or diesel. Mix only the required amount for daily use and avoid storing excess. When mixing in water, half-fill the spray tank, add the herbicide, and then complete filling while agitating continuously. When mixing in diesel, follow a similar process. Tank mixtures should be added in a specific order to ensure proper mixing.

OILS AND SURFACTANTS Uptake Spraying Oil should be used at specified rates when mixing with Flotilla® Herbicide. For surfactants (wetters), use a 100% concentrate non-ionic surfactant like BS1000 at the recommended rate.

COMPATIBILITY Flotilla Herbicide is compatible with several other herbicides, but it's essential to follow regional restrictions and label directions for each chemical mixed with Flotilla®. When using with atrazine, special precautions should be taken regarding water quality and agitation.

APPLICATION METHODS AND WATER RATES For ground application (boom), Flotilla® Herbicide should be applied with an accurately calibrated sprayer in at least 50 L/ha water. Aerial application requires a minimum volume of 35 L/ha water. Specific equipment and conditions should be met for different application methods to ensure effectiveness and minimize crop damage.

WOODY WEED SITUATIONS Different application methods are recommended for woody weed situations, including high-volume application, knapsack sprayers, low-volume application, and basal bark or cut stump application. Each method requires specific techniques to achieve optimal results.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Follow all safety precautions mentioned on the product label and wear appropriate protective gear during handling and application. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing, and wash thoroughly after handling. Ensure proper disposal of unused product and containers according to local regulations.
