GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

FARMALINX Glypho 450 Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide designed to eliminate most emerged weeds and plants. It lacks residual weed control, making it suitable for use before sowing any crop, except prior to transplanting tomato seedlings.

  • FARMALINX Glypho 450 can be mixed with certain herbicides for both knockdown and residual weed control (refer to Tank Mixtures).
  • Absorbed by foliage and green stems, moving into the root system, it should be applied to actively growing weeds. Avoid treating under poor growing or dormant conditions, as well as dusty or silt-covered weeds. Prior herbicide application may induce stress in weeds.
  • Effects on annual weeds may take 3 to 7 days to manifest, while for perennials, it may take 2 to 3 weeks or more under cool and cloudy conditions.
  • FARMALINX Glypho 450 is a non-volatile liquid that mixes well with water. Rain within 6 hours post-application may reduce effectiveness. Heavy rainfall within 2 hours may require a repeat treatment. Avoid contact with crops, desirable plants, and trees, as severe injury may result. It's compatible with certain herbicides, insecticides, and additives (see Compatibility).
  • There is no withholding period for stock, but grazing should be delayed for one day after treating annual weeds or 7 days for perennial weeds.
  • Certain toxic plants may be present; delay stock grazing until treated plants have completely browned.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING

FARMALINX Glypho 450 belongs to the Glycines group and inhibits EPSP Synthase. It's a group M Herbicide, and resistant weeds may emerge if used repeatedly. FARMALINX Pty Ltd is not liable for losses resulting from the herbicide's failure to control resistant weeds.

CROP ESTABLISHMENT

Recommended for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment. Cultivation and sowing operations are essential for creating an optimal seedbed. Guidelines include spraying Glypho 450 early, seeding one day after spraying if weeds are few and the soil is friable, and delaying sowing in high weed density until dead weeds decay.

MIXING

  • Glypho 450 is a non-volatile liquid that mixes with water. Use plastic, fiberglass, rubber, aluminum, brass, copper, or stainless steel containers. Do not use galvanized steel or unlined steel.
  • Follow specific steps for mixing with other herbicides, insecticides, or additives.
  • Add a non-ionic wetting agent when required.

SURFACTANT ADDITION

  • Non-ionic surfactant may improve weed control with high water rates or low product rates.
  • Specific amounts for spot spraying, boom spraying, and wiper equipment are provided.

APPLICATION

  • FARMALINX Glypho 450 is a non-selective translocated herbicide. Direct contact may cause severe injury or destruction to crops. Clean equipment thoroughly after use.

BOOM EQUIPMENT

  • Recommended rates and equipment for boom spraying.

HIGH VOLUME APPLICATION

  • Guidelines for knapsack/handgun equipment, low volume application, and wiper equipment.

AERIAL APPLICATION

  • Use aerial spraying only in specific situations. Follow guidelines for rates, water volume, and temperature considerations.

TANK MIXTURES - COMPATIBILITY

  • Glypho 450 may be tank-mixed with specific herbicides, insecticides, and additives. Follow label directions and precautions for each tank mix product.
  • Suggestions for choosing appropriate tank mixtures are provided.

Note: Read and follow all label instructions and safety precautions when using FARMALINX Glypho 450.
