General Instructions:

GOOGLY Alpha Duo 250SC is a suspension concentrate acting as a contact and residual insecticide. It can serve as a protective treatment when applied regularly or as a knockdown treatment to control existing infestations.

Mixing:

Shake or roll the container several times before measuring out the product to ensure thorough mixing. Add the product to the partly filled spray vat while agitating. Continue agitation while topping up the tank and during spraying. Reseal partly used containers immediately after use.

Application:

GOOGLY Alpha Duo 250SC can be applied by ground or aircraft. Thorough coverage is crucial for adequate control. Always apply with a non-ionic surfactant unless otherwise directed on the label of a tank mix partner. Apply during cooler parts of the day or night.

• Ground Application:

  • Use a total volume of 50-200 L/ha for low volume spraying of field crops with ground rigs.

  • Use higher volumes for sweet corn, tomatoes, and tobacco.

  • Apply as a fine spray, preferably using hollow cone nozzles.

• Aerial Application:

  • Avoid applying to trellis tomatoes by aircraft.

  • Use a minimum spray volume of 20 L/ha.

  • For spring/early summer application to cereals, canola, and other dense crops, use a total spray volume of 30 to 35 L/ha.

Resistance Warning:

GOOGLY Alpha Duo 250SC is a Group 3A insecticide. Some insect biotypes resistant to it and other Group 3A insecticides may exist. Use of GOOGLY Alpha Duo 250SC or other Group 3A insecticides repeatedly may lead to dominance of resistant individuals. Implement specific resistance management strategies and consult local agricultural authorities for further guidance.

Precautions:

• Do not use human flaggers unless protected by engineering controls.

• Re-entry into treated areas should not occur for 12 hours after application. When necessary, wear appropriate protective clothing.

Protection of Livestock and Environment:

• Dangerous to bees. Do not spray on flowering plants while bees are foraging.

• Dangerous to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Prevent contamination of water bodies with product or used containers.

Storage and Disposal:

• Store in closed, original containers in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

• Rinse containers before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Follow local regulations for recycling or disposal.

• Empty containers should not be burnt. Triple rinse containers before disposal or return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
