Weeds Controlled:
Suppression only: medics (Medicago spp.), silver grass (1 to 2 leaf only) (Vulpia spp.), storksbill (Erodium spp.), volunteer vetch (Vicia spp.)
Rate: 40 or 55 g/ha plus Hasten or Kwickin at 0.5L/100L spray volume Refer to Critical Comments for rates of Lontrel (1) 750 SG Herbicide and Aramo (1)

Critical Comments: Ensure follow-crop comments and restrictions on the label are consulted prior to use.
Apply to crops in the 2 to 6 leaf stage.
Apply early post-emergence to actively growing grass weeds in the
3 to 5 leaf stage (Z1.3 to 1.5) and broadleaf weeds in the 2 to 4 leaf stage (20 g rate) or grass weeds in the 3 leaf to 2 tillers stage (Z1.3 to 2.2) and broadleaf weeds in the 2 to 6 leaf stage (40 or 55 g rate).
Where OnDuty herbicide is used alone and annual ryegrass is a significant weed in the total weed population, use the 55 g/ha rate to achieve suppression.
Weeds will either be killed or will be stunted and uncompetitive with the crop.
Do NOT apply more than once per season to any one crop.
OnDuty is physically and biologically compatible with Lontrel (1) 750 SG Herbicide Herbicide and Aramo (1) Herbicide, both in two- way and three-way mixes.
Aramo Herbicide aids in the control of selected grass species (refer to the Aramo label). When these weeds require control apply a tank mix of OnDuty and Aramo using the recommended label rate of Aramo. 175mL/ha of Aramo will normally be sufficient to achieve good control of light populations.
Use higher rates when grasses are primary weeds in the paddock, and when their growth stage requires it, to ensure highest levels of control. When mixing with Aramo, use 1L/100L spray volume of Hasten or Kwickin as per the Aramo label.
Lontrel (1) 750 SG aids in the control of legumes, prickly lettuce, capeweed and other thistle-like weed species. When these weeds require control apply a tank mix of OnDuty and Lontrel (1) 750 SG using the recommended label rate of Lontrel (1) 750 SG .
Rates of Lontrel (1) 750 SG above 150mL/ha can impair grass control. The addition of Aramo at 175mL/ha to the tank mix will overcome this antagonism.
(Refer to the Compatibility section of this label and the Aramo and Lontrel (1) 750 SG labels for further details of use).
#Where Group A and/or group B – resistant ryegrass is known to be present or ryegrass populations in excess of 200 plants per m2 are expected, an application of Stomp 440 Herbicide or Crop Care Trifluralin 480 should be made prior to sowing. DO NOT use OnDuty at 40-55g/ha on shallow, strongly duplex soils in Western Australia.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
OnDuty is for use in canola and wheat varieties with Clearfield technology only. Varieties with Clearfield Technology are those which have been bred specifically to be tolerant to OnDuty Herbicide. OnDuty is an early-post-emergence herbicide with some residual soil activity under good soil moisture conditions. Residual effects on weeds can be variable, where dry soil conditions follow the application of OnDuty, because the herbicide is not freely available to weeds. Best weed control will be achieved when application is made to young weeds. The product must be mixed with Hasten or Kwickin as per the Directions for Use. Treated weeds will either die or will remain stunted and will not compete with the crop. Vigorous crop growth will assist in suppressing weeds not completely killed or germinating later.

MIXING
OnDuty is a water dispersible granule formulation. Part-fill the spray tank with water, then with agitator running, add the required amount of product. Add the required quantity of adjuvant and if required, other compatible product, whilst filling the remainder of the tank.

APPLICATION
Do NOT apply by aircraft.
Apply in a minimum 70 L water per hectare. In situations where grass weed populations exceed 200 plants per m2, apply in a minimum 100 L water per hectare.
When used alone, OnDuty Herbicide should be applied a minimum of two hours before rainfall or overhead irrigation. In mixtures with Lontrel 750 SG or MCPA, application should be made a minimum of three or six hours respectively, before rainfall or overhead irrigation.

EQUIPMENT CLEAN-UP
Thoroughly flush all spray equipment with water following the use of OnDuty and before use with other products. After using in mixtures with MCPA, thoroughly clean all spray equipment, especially plastic spray lines, using ammonium solution or washing soda, before using on sensitive crops such as canola and legumes.

COMPATIBILITY
OnDuty is compatible with FASTAC, and Swift (1). It is also compatible with MCPA, and Lontrel 750 SG Herbicide at the rates indicated in the Directions for Use table.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING
GROUP B HERBICIDE
OnDuty Herbicide is a member of the Imidazolinone group of herbicides. The product has the inhibitors-of-acetolactate- synthase (ALS) mode of action. For weed resistance management, the product is a
Group B herbicide.
Some naturally-occurring weed biotypes resistant to the product and other Group B herbicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any weed population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides are used repeatedly. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by this product or other Group B herbicides.
Since the occurrence of resistant weeds is difficult to detect prior to use, BASF Australia Ltd accepts no liability for any losses that may result from failure of this product to control resistant weeds.

BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICE (BMP) PROGRAMME
A detailed programme has been developed that outlines sound agronomic practices and integrated weed management programmes, designed to optimise the performance of the Clearfield Production System and minimise the potential for the development of herbicide resistance in weed populations.
Consultation on BMP should be undertaken with a Clearfield-accredited agronomist prior to use of OnDuty Herbicide in the Clearfield Production Systems for canola and wheat. Implementation of the BMP is an essential part of herbicide resistance management.

FOLLOW CROPS
This product is broken down in the soil by microbes in wet, aerobic conditions. Under conditions which do not favour breakdown, carry-over soil residues can affect susceptible follow crops. Normally safe residue levels may still affect follow crops when soil nutrition is low or marginal, when cold and very wet soil conditions prevail, or when soil pathogens or nematodes are present. As environmental and agronomic factors make it impossible to eliminate all risks associated with this product, rotational crop injury is always possible.
Note: when the intention is to grow cereals on Clearfield canola stubble (treated with OnDuty) self-sown canola volunteers must be removed at least eight weeks prior to sowing, all macro and micro-nutrients must be maintained at levels necessary to grow the planned crops, and sulfonylurea herbicides must not be used.

If expected rainfall is not received following use of OnDuty, consult your local BASF representative before planting wheat, barley or triticale. (In calculating rainfall actually received, exclude single isolated falls which do not result in periods of continuous soil moisture to allow microbial breakdown to occur in the root zone.

RE-ENTRY PERIOD FOR OnDuty PLUS MCPA
When tank-mixing OnDuty with MCPA, do NOT allow entry into treated areas for 24 hours. When prior entry is necessary, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist and a washable hat, goggles and chemical resistant gloves. Clothing must be laundered after each day's use.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS
Do NOT apply under weather conditions, or from spraying equipment, that may cause spray to drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, cropping lands or pastures.
Do NOT spray within 50 m of wetlands or waterways.

CROP SAFETY
This product may, in some circumstances, lead to transient crop yellowing and temporary slowing of growth but plants soon recover and yield is unaffected. This effect may be more pronounced when the product is used under poor growth conditions. Do NOT use this product on any canola variety other than certified canola varieties with Clearfield technology. Severe crop damage will result to any other canola varieties.
Do NOT allow spray overlapping as crop injury may occur.
