GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Product Type:

• Sabakem Alpha-Cypermethrin 100EC® Insecticide is a contact and residual insecticide. It can be used as a protective treatment at regular intervals or as a knockdown treatment to control existing larvae. Best results are achieved when sprayed at egg hatch. Thorough coverage is crucial for adequate control.

Application Methods:

1. Mixed with Water: Suitable for low volume and high volume applications by ground rig. Ensure thorough mixing and agitation during application.

2. Mixed with Oil Based Bulking Agents: Applicable for Ultra Low Volume (ULV) application by aircraft. Mix with D-C-Tron Cotton Spray Oil or compatible ULV products. Ensure no water is present in the spraying system.

Mixing:

• For water carrier applications, add the required quantity of product to water in the spray tank and mix thoroughly. For ULV application with oil-based bulking agents, add the mixing partner to the tank first, engage agitation, and then add Sabakem Alpha-Cypermethrin 100EC® Insecticide.

Application - Grapevines, Pome, and Stone Fruit:

• Dilute Spraying: Use a sprayer designed for high volumes of water. Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off. Adjust spray volume and product amount as the crop grows.

• Concentrate Spraying: Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying. Determine appropriate dilute spray volume and calculate concentrate mixing rate accordingly.

Application - Crops Other Than Grapevines, Pome, and Stone Fruit:

• Ground Application with Water Carrier: Use appropriate spray volume and ensure thorough coverage. Apply with non-ionic surfactant unless stated otherwise.

• Aerial Application with Water Carrier: Follow specified spray volume recommendations and avoid application to trellis tomatoes by aircraft.

• Ultra Low Volume (ULV) Application by Aircraft: Ensure a minimum total spray volume and suitable droplet size. Apply during cooler parts of the day or at night.

Compatibility:

• Compatible with various products including D-C-Tron Cotton Spray Oil, dicamba, glyphosate, simazine, paraquat, and others. Avoid mixing with wettable powders and water-dispersible granules before addition to the spray tank. Follow specific instructions for ULV mixing with other insecticides and PBO synergists.
