GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Sipgran 750 WG Selective Herbicide is a water-dispersible granular herbicide designed for pre-plant, incorporated by sowing, control of annual ryegrass, paradoxa grass, and certain broadleaf weeds in wheat. It is also effective for post-emergent control of wild radish in wheat, oats, and barley.

Crops other than wheat, barley, oats, triticale, and cereal rye can be highly sensitive to low soil concentrations of Sipgran 750 WG Selective Herbicide. Therefore, careful consideration should be given to crop rotation plans before using the product.

Resistant Weeds Warning: Sipgran 750 WG Selective Herbicide belongs to the sulfonylurea group of herbicides with the ALS Inhibitor mode of action, representing a Group B Herbicide for weed resistance management. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Sipgran 750 WG and other Group B herbicides may exist due to genetic variability. Resistant weeds may dominate the population if these herbicides are overused. Such resistant weeds will not be controlled by Sipgran 750 WG Selective Herbicide or other Group B (ALS Inhibitor) herbicides. Detection of resistant weeds before use is challenging; therefore, Sipcam Pacific Australia Pty Ltd disclaims liability for losses resulting from the failure of Sipgran 750 WG Selective Herbicide to control resistant weeds. Consult your local supplier, consultant, Department of Agriculture, Primary Industries Department, or Sipcam Pacific Australia Pty Ltd representative for advice on alternative treatments and strategies.

Mixing: Sipgran 750 WG Selective Herbicide is a water-dispersible granular herbicide that mixes readily with water for spray application.

  • Partly fill the spray tank with water.
  • Start agitation.
  • Add the correct amount of product to the spray tank with the agitation system running.
  • Continue agitation while topping up the tank with water and during spraying.
  • Use the spray mix within 24 hours of preparation.

Application:

Ground Application: Apply by boom spray, using 30 to 100L of water per hectare. Avoid overlapping of boom runs.

Aerial Application: Always spray in a crosswind of less than 5 knots. Ensure good spray coverage, applying 20 to 40 litres per hectare.

Sprayer Cleanup:

  1. For sprayers used on cereal crops, thoroughly rinse the sprayer with water.
  2. For sprayers used on crops other than cereals:
    • Drain tank and rinse tank and spray boom with clean water for at least 10 minutes.
    • Fill the tank with clean water and add 300mL of household chlorine bleach (4% chlorine) per 100 L of water.
    • Rinse hoses and boom and leave in the tank for 15 minutes with agitation. Drain through the nozzle.
    • Repeat step 2 and rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all traces of chlorine bleach.
    • Clean nozzles and filters separately.
    • Dispose of all water used for cleaning.

Compatibility: When using a tank mix of Sipgran and Spray-Seed*:

  • Add Sipgran 750 WG with constant agitation to approximately half the total volume of water.
  • Ensure that Sipgran is fully dispersed.
  • Add Spray-Seed*, fill the spray tank to full volume with water, and mix thoroughly.
  • Apply the tank mix immediately under constant agitation.

Sipgran 750 WG is compatible with:
