DIRECTIONS FOR USE
ODYSSEY ULTRA NXT Herbicide Tank-Mix is a selective herbicide that can be applied as an early post-emergence treatment in field peas, Clearfield Lentils (1), Clearfield Canola (1), faba beans and soybeans.
When grasses are stressed due to drought, flooding, hot or prolonged cool temperatures (15 C or less), control can be reduced or delayed since grasses are not actively growing. Grass escapes or retillering may occur under prolonged stress conditions or low fertility. Do not make applications to grasses stressed longer than 20 days due to lack of moisture, as unsatisfactory control can result.
Thorough preplant tillage operations are required for fields where sod or forage grass crops may have grown in the previous year.
Field Sprayer Application
DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty. DO NOT apply with spray droplets smaller than the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE) medium classification. Boom height must be 60 cm or less above the crop or ground.
DO NOT apply by air.
As this product is not registered for the control of pests in aquatic systems, DO NOT use to control aquatic pests.
Buffer Zones
The buffer zones specified in the table below are required between the point of direct application and the closest downwind edge of sensitive terrestrial habitats (such as grasslands, forested areas, shelter belts, woodlots, hedgerows, riparian areas and shrublands) and sensitive freshwater habitats (such as lakes, rivers, sloughs, ponds, prairie potholes, creeks, marshes, streams, reservoirs and wetlands).
When a tank mixture is used, consult the labels of the tank-mix partners and observe the largest (most restrictive) buffer zone of the products involved in the tank mixture and apply using the coarsest spray (ASAE) category indicated on the labels for those tank mix partners..
Rainfastness Interval: The ODYSSEY ULTRA NXT Herbicide Tank-Mix is rainfast 3 hours after application.
Do not contaminate domestic or irrigation water, lakes, streams or ponds by the cleaning of equipment or the disposal of wastes.
Do not apply more than once per year.

REGISTERED CROPS
ODYSSEY ULTRA NXT Herbicide Tank-Mix is a selective herbicide that can be applied as an early post-emergence treatment in field peas, Clearfield Lentils (1) (lentil varieties with the Clearfield trait), Clearfield Canola (1) (canola varieties with the Clearfield trait), faba beans and soybeans for control of grass and broadleaf weeds.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
1. When applying ODYSSEY ULTRA NXT Herbicide Tank-Mix, always start with a clean sprayer. Refer to previously applied product labels for specific cleaning instructions.
2. Fill the spray tank with three-quarters of the required amount of clean water, start agitation and continue agitation throughout the entire mixing and spraying procedure.
3. Add the required amount of Odyssey Ultra NXT A and continue to agitate until fully dissolved.
4. Add the required amount of Odyssey Ultra NXT B while agitating the spray solution. If required, add the necessary amount of POAST ULTRA Liquid Emulsifiable Herbicide.
5. After the herbicide is dissolved, continue agitation and add the required amount of MERGE Adjuvant. If excess foaming occurs, a silicone anti-foaming agent may be added (e.g. HALT).
6. Complete filling the tank to the desired level with water.
7. If agitation is stopped for more than 5 minutes, re-suspend spray solution by full agitation prior to commencing spraying again. Between loads of ODYSSEY ULTRA NXT Herbicide Tank-Mix, check in-line and nozzle screens and rinse and clean if necessary.
8. Upon completion of spraying ODYSSEY ULTRA NXT Herbicide Tank-Mix, thoroughly flush tank, boom, hoses and in-line and nozzle screens with clean water to avoid possible injury to other crops.

ROTATIONAL CROPS
There is the possibility of residual soil activity for ODYSSEY ULTRA NXT A the year following application.
Research studies have shown that the following crops may be safely planted the year following ODYSSEY ULTRA NXT A application:
Barley (spring)
Canary seed
Chickpeas
Clearfield Canola (1) (canola varieties with the Clearfield trait)
Clearfield Lentils (1) (lentil varieties with the Clearfield trait)
Corn (field)
Lentils
Peas (dried field)
Soybeans
Tame oats
Wheat (spring and durum)
Research studies have shown that flax, canola and sunflower may be safely planted 2 years following an ODYSSEY ULTRA NXT A application in all regions of Western Canada except the Peace River Region of Alberta and British Columbia. In the Peace River Region, observe a minimum 34 months recropping interval for non-Clearfield canola, flax and non-Clearfield sunflower, and perform a field bio-assay the year prior to planting to confirm normal growth of the crops. If the crops show signs of injury, delay planting by an additional year and perform an additional field bio-assay the following year.
WARNING: Certain environmental conditions may delay the breakdown of herbicide residues in soil. These conditions include but are not limited to drought, extremes in soil pH and excessive cold. Under these conditions, the level of phytotoxic herbicide residues present in the field the season following an application may result in an increased potential for injury to succeeding crops to occur. This potential for increased residues under these environmental conditions is not unique to any specific herbicide or herbicide group but is a property of those herbicides which persist in the soil and are dependent on soil microbial activity and other non-microbial processes (e.g. hydrolysis) to breakdown.
There are insufficient data for other follow crops. Conduct a field bioassay (a test strip grown to maturity) the year before growing any crop other than those listed above.
