Chilli thrips

Due to its diverse vegetation and subtropical climate, Florida is extremely suitable for the establishment of invasive alien flora and fauna. In the United States, the chilli thrips, Scirtothrips dorsalis Hood, is a relatively new, introduced insect pest in Florida and Texas.
