FARMALINX Manzeb Fungicide - General Instructions:

FARMALINX Manzeb Fungicide is a protectant fungicide designed for controlling certain fungus diseases in various crops. Follow these general instructions for proper usage:

  1. Best Results and Application:

    • Apply as part of a regular spray program.
    • Ensure thorough coverage of the treated crop for optimal results.
  2. Fungicide Resistance Warning:

    • FARMALINX Manzeb Fungicide is a Group M3 fungicide.
    • Resistance may develop in naturally occurring individual fungi through genetic variability if the fungicide is used repeatedly.
    • Resistant fungi will not be controlled by this fungicide, leading to a reduction in efficacy and potential yield loss.
    • FARMALINX Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of FARMALINX Manzeb Fungicide to control resistant fungi.
  3. Mixing:

    • Slowly place into the spray tank during filling or thoroughly premix in a nurse tank for concentrate or aircraft sprayers.
    • Add co-applied fungicides, insecticides, surfactants, etc., after FARMALINX Manzeb Fungicide is in suspension.
    • Maintain sufficient agitation during mixing and spraying to prevent settling and ensure a uniform spray mixture.
    • Rinse out the spray tank, pumps, and nozzles at the end of the day.
  4. Surfactants:

    • Addition of agricultural surfactants improves initial spray deposits, fungicide redistribution, and weatherability.
    • Use a Spreader-Sticker per label directions if needed.
  5. Application - Dilute Spraying (Tree and Vine Crops Only):

    • Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes up to the point of run-off.
    • Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of first run-off.
    • Avoid excessive run-off.
  6. Application - Concentrate Spraying (Tree and Vine Crops Only):

    • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying.
    • Set up and operate to achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
    • Consult local advisors to determine appropriate dilute spray volumes.
  7. Aerial Application:

    • Apply using agricultural aircraft.
    • Use at least 30 to 50 liters of spray mixture per hectare.
  8. Spray Timing:

    • Treat prior to disease infection and continue until the threat has passed.
    • Repeat applications to protect new plant growth.
    • Adjust spray interval based on weather conditions favoring disease development.
  9. Compatibility:

    • FARMALINX Manzeb Fungicide may be harmful to Typhlodromus pyri.
    • Compatible with most commonly used agricultural fungicides and insecticides.
    • Check compatibility with other manufacturers' recommendations before preparing tank mixes.
  10. Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

  • Toxic to fish; avoid contamination of ponds, waterways, or drains.
  • Do not re-use the container.
  1. Storage and Disposal:
  • Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
  • Do not allow to become wet or overheated in storage.
  • Dispose of undiluted chemicals properly, following local regulations.
  1. Safety Directions:
