APPLICATION

1. WOODY WEED SITUATIONS

A. High Volume Spraying: Ensure thorough coverage of foliage and stems to the point of runoff while avoiding excess spraying.

B. Aerial Application: Apply Prairie 755 in 100 to 200 L water/ha using a calibrated aircraft, with droplets of 250 to 350 micron diameter. Minimize drift by avoiding spraying in windy conditions (above 10 km/hr) and temperatures exceeding 30°C. Human flagging is not authorized without protective engineering controls.

C. Controlled Droplet Application (C.D.A.) Boom Mounted Only: Achieve results similar to high volume spraying using a nozzle with a flow rate of 2 mL/sec for a droplet density of 20/cm2. Use a marking agent to check spray coverage and consult equipment manufacturer's directions.

2. CROPPING/FALLOW SITUATIONS

A. Boom Application: Apply Prairie 755 in a minimum spray volume of 50 L/ha using flat fan nozzles and pressures of 200-300 kPa, ensuring double overlap of nozzle patterns.

B. Aerial Application: Avoid physical drift onto desirable plants and use a minimum spray volume of 35 L/ha with flat fan and CP nozzle configurations. Do not apply Prairie 755 by aircraft in windy conditions (above 10 km/hr) or temperatures exceeding 30°C. Maintain droplets with an average size of 250 to 350 micron diameter. Human flagging is not authorized without protective engineering controls.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT

WATER-BASED CLEANING

Rinsing: Thoroughly wash and rinse the spray unit after use, ensuring all filters and nozzles are cleaned.

Decontamination: Before spraying sensitive crops, clean the tank and system with an alkali detergent and flush with clean water. Dispose of rinse water appropriately, away from desirable plants and watercourses.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING Prairie 755 is a Group I herbicide. Use judiciously to prevent weed resistance. Kenso Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of Prairie 755 to control resistant weeds.

PRECAUTIONS Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried unless wearing protective clothing and gloves. Avoid spraying in conditions that may cause drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS Avoid spraying Prairie 755 on susceptible crops and ensure a buffer zone of 150 meters when using aerial application in fallow situations to protect native tree species.
