GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

COMPATIBILITY - FALLOW SITUATIONS:

  • Compatible Products: Tryclops® 600 is compatible with Lontrel Herbicide, Starane 200 Herbicide, Glyphosate 450 Herbicide, Glyphosate 490 Herbicide, Touchdown Broadacre, 2,4-D amine or 2,4-D ester, and Chlorpyrifos 500 Insecticide.
  • Glyphosate 450 Tank Mixing: When tank mixing with Glyphosate 450 in fallow, refer to the Glyphosate 450 label for use rate and adjuvants. Avoid using Uptake Spraying Oil or D-C-Trate Crop Oil.

SORGHUM:

  • Tryclops® 600 is compatible with Starane 200 Herbicide and atrazine (500 g/L flowable product only).
  • Use nitrile gloves when tank mixing with products requiring PVC gloves.

MINIMUM RECROPPING PERIODS:

  • Observe the specified recropping periods for Tryclops® 600:
    • Wheat, barley, sorghum, maize: 7 days
    • Chickpeas, soybeans, sunflowers: 7 days
    • Cotton: 14 days

MIXING:

  • Half-fill the spray unit with water, add Tryclops® 600, and complete filling with agitation. Add crop oils or wetters if necessary. Maintain agitation during spraying. Only mix enough for immediate use, avoiding storage.

APPLICATION:

  1. WOODY WEED SITUATIONS:

    • High Volume Spraying:
      • Ensure thorough coverage of foliage and stems to the point of runoff.
      • Hand Gun: Apply recommended mix for full coverage through a No. 6 to 8 tip.
      • Knapsack: Use for smaller infestations.
    • Aerial Application:
      • Apply in 100 to 200 L water/ha with calibrated aircraft.
      • Avoid spraying under windy or hot conditions.
    • Controlled Droplet Application (C.D.A.):
      • Use equipment like Micron Herbi for similar results to high volume spraying.
    • Low Volume High Concentrate Application Techniques:
      • Use gas-powered gun or sprinkler sprayer for good control.
    • Basal Bark and Cut Stump Treatment:
      • Mix Tryclops® 600 in diesel for basal bark and cut stump applications.
  2. CROPPING/FALLOW SITUATIONS:

    • Boom Application:
      • Apply in a minimum spray volume of 50 L/ha with flat fan nozzles.
    • Aerial Application:
      • Use a minimum spray volume of 35 L/ha with flat fan and CP nozzle configurations.
      • Avoid drift onto desirable plants.
    • Cleaning Spray Equipment:
      • Rinse water-based equipment thoroughly. Use water and alkali detergent for decontamination.
      • For diesel-based equipment, use water, degreaser, and alkali detergent for cleaning.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:

  • Use water-based or diesel-based cleaning methods depending on the carrier. Thoroughly rinse, drain, and clean the spray unit, filters, hoses, and nozzles. Follow specific decontamination steps for different carriers.
