GENERAL INFORMATION
General Precautions and Restrictions
-Rotate to sunflower, cotton, soybeans, peanuts, dry beans, lima beans and the following cereal grain crops (except rice) - corn (all types), sorghum, wheat, barley, buckwheat, millet (pearly and proso), oats, rye, teosinte, triticale and wild rice. You may also rotate to the following non-grass animal feed crops - alfalfa, clover spp., lespedeza spp., lupin spp., sainfoil, trefoil spp., vetch spp., crown vetch and milk vetch spp. Other crops may be planted after completion of the rotational crop season.

-If applied after June 10, do not rotate to crops other than corn or sorghum the next year or crop injury from atrazine may occur.
-Injury may occur to soybeans planted the year following application on soils having a calcareous subsurface layer.
-In the High Plains and Intermountain regions of the West where rainfall is sparse and erratic or irrigation is required, use only when corn or sorghum is to follow corn.
-In Eastern parts of the Dakotas, Kansas, western Minnesota and Nebraska, do not rotate to soybeans if the rate applied to corn was more than 2.0 pounds active ingredient equivalent of atrazine or soybean injury may occur.
-Do not plant sugar beets, sunflower, potatoes, tobacco, dry beans or peas, spring-seeded small grains or small-seeded legumes the year following application, or injury from atrazine may occur.
-Do not apply more than 4 pounds of alachlor active ingredient per acre per year. This is equivalent to 6.4 quarts of this product per acre per year. Lariat f10wable herbicide is recommended for the control of many annual grasses and broadleaf weeds. The seedbed should be fine, firm and free of clods when tillage is performed.
Performance is improved when moisture occurs within one week after application. The amount required depends primarily upon the amount of soil moisture in the weed germination zone at the time of application, soil type and organic matter content, but 1/3 to 3/4 inch is generally sufficient for performance of this product. High intensity or excessive rainfall, or excessive irrigation after application may reduce control.
This product and all tank mixtures listed for corn and grain sorghum in the "DIRECTIONS FOR USE" section maybe applied in water or sprayable fluid fertilizer solution prior to crop emergence. Post emergence application to corn is not allowed.
Read and carefully observe the cautionary statements and all other information appearing on this label and on the labeling of all products used in mixtures and sequential treatments.
Use of this product in any manner not consistent with this label may result in injury to persons, animals or crops, or other unintended consequences. Keep container closed to prevent spills and contamination.
Do not apply when conditions favor drift.
Flush sprayer with clean water after use.
NOTE: Use this product for weed control in corn and grain sorghum (milo) only. CORN, PEANUTS, SORGHUM (MILO) OR SOYBEANS CAN BE PLANTED THE YEAR FOLLOWING THE USE OF THIS MIXTURE. IF SOYBEANS, PEANUTS, OR DRY BEANS ARE PLANTED THE FOLLOWING YEAR, THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF CROP INJURY DUE TO CARRYOVER OF ATRAZINE. Do not plant soybeans in areas where furrow irrigation is practiced.
