COMPATIBILITY

FALLOW SITUATIONS

FarmaLinx Tripyr 600 EC Herbicide Compatibility:

• Compatible with: Lontrel* Herbicide, Starane* 200 Herbicide, Touchdown Broadacre, 2,4-D amine or 2,4-D ester, glyphosate, Lorsban* 500 EC Insecticide.
• Glyphosate mixing in fallow: Refer to glyphosate label for rates and recommended adjuvants. DO NOT use Uptake Spraying Oil or D-C-Trate Crop Oil.*

SORGHUM:

• Compatible with Floxor Herbicide and atrazine (500 g/L flowable product only).

MINIMUM RECROPPING PERIODS:

• Check plant-back information on herbicide labels before tank mixing.
• Planting time determined by the product with the longest plant-back period.

Recropping periods for FarmaLinx Tripyr 600 EC Herbicide:

• Wheat, barley, sorghum, maize: 7 days
• Chickpeas, soybeans, sunflowers: 7 days
• Cotton: 14 days

MIXING:

• Half-fill spray unit with water.
• Add FarmaLinx Tripyr 600 EC Herbicide.
• Add remaining water with agitator running.
• For immediate daily use; avoid storing solutions.
• Basal Bark and Cut Stump Application: Quarter-fill with diesel.

APPLICATION:

1. WOODY WEED SITUATIONS: A. High Volume Spraying: - Thorough coverage needed, avoid excess spraying. B. Aerial Application: - Apply in 100 to 200 L water/ha. - Avoid spraying in wind >10 km/hr or air temp >30°C. C. Controlled Droplet Application (C.D.A.): - Use Micron Herbi or similar equipment. - Nozzle flow rate: 2 mL/sec; sweeping action: 1 m/sec. D. Low Volume High Concentrate Application Techniques: - Gas-powered gun: Apply 50 mL shots. - Sprinkler sprayer: Use low pressures (50 to 200 kPa).

   E. Basal Bark and Cut Stump Treatment: - Mix with diesel. Use sprayers with Viton* seals. - Basal Bark Method: Do not apply to wet stems. Hand-directed equipment. - Cut Stump Method: Apply liberally to freshly cut stump.

2. CROPPING/FALLOW SITUATIONS: A. Boom Application: - Minimum spray volume: 50 L/ha. - Flat fan nozzles; pressures: 200-300 kPa; double overlap. B. Aerial Application: - Minimum spray volume: 35 L/ha. - Avoid drift onto desirable plants. - Do not apply by aircraft in wind >10 km/hr or air temp >30°C. - Droplets of 250 to 350 micron diameter recommended.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT

WATER-BASED CLEANING:

• Rinsing:
  • Empty spray unit, wash with pressure hose.
  • Rinse with clean water twice.
• Decontamination:
  • For equipment used with FarmaLinx Tripyr 600 EC Herbicide before spraying sensitive crops.
  • Use alkali detergent, circulate for 15 minutes, drain, and flush with clean water.
