Peach twig borer
Anarsia lineatella
Wingspan 11-14 mm.
On the continent this species is considered a pest of fruit trees due to the larval habit of feeding on such fruit as plums and peaches.
In the British Isles it has generally been encountered when it has been reared from imported fruit. However, there have been several suspected migrant records from England and Wales, attracted to light.
The adult is generally at large between June and August.
